-JQ-
There's no "I" in "team", but there are four in "platitude quoting idiot". I've collected a few tag lines or signature lines, etc from a few posters. These are a few that I like...some are original some are quotes: "Behind every smile there are teeth" - Sun Tzu YOU DON'T BUY A FERRARI AND GO TO PEPBOY'S TO GET PARTS! Some people are like slinkies...they aren't really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs. 19 blasts, enclosed in stainless perfection; P226 X-Five Why .308? Because people have a strange tendency to get behind things when you start shooting at them. Don't count me out till you see the box go in the hole! Stop Dihydrogen Monoxide pollution. Why 45...because they don't make a 46 What say you? Edited August 12, 2008 by hk_mtbr

JKSNIPER
"You can't get Porsche performance on a Volkswagon budget. Speed costs money....how fast do you want to go?" Said by my buddy Brian Sain to his command staff when they asked why their SWAT team needed so much money for training and more training time. I also liked his reply to a commander who thought that once a month was fine for a SWAT team to practice. Brian: "You have kids sir?" Reply:" Yes I do." Brian: " Do they play sports?" Reply: "Yes they do." Brian: "Baseball? Football?" Reply:" My kids do a variety of sports but they do play baseball and football" Brian:" They practice .....what? 2 times a week for baseball?" Reply: "They have practice every day after school and they do before school workouts sometimes. They also have weekend practices and games." Brian: "So basically the kids that PLAY A GAME practice more than the SWAT team does that is tasked with saving peoples lives? Lemme ask you something sir...How much practice do YOU want the guy to have thats behind the rifle when its YOUR kid or wife being held hostage? Do you want the guy that just had the minimum requirement or the guy that got all the training there was to be had?" Point, set, match. Gotta love those Texas boys.
