I may be taking the plunge on a 1050 as I am shooting 800 rounds on the weekend and 100 rounds mid-week per day. Reloading has become quite tedious on the 550B. I only shoot .40/10mm. What would you do? Keep it as a backup or sell the mutha for some hard cash that can be used for bullets?

I thought many times about selling the 650 and just buying additional toolheads for the 1050. That changed when I broke the 1050's main shaft and had no ammo stockpiled.......

I just feel better, especially since I almost never load in advance, having a spare press......

I really HATE everything about reloading, except for the price, and the quality /consistency of the ammo......

One of my fantasies about striking it rich is to hire a reloader/caddy/coach --- which goes along with the fantasy of a Winnebago type vehicle for match travel, with a masseuse on board......

2 1050 and one 650.

90% loads on one 1050, .40 for limited, steel an dproduction, minor adjustments to seating depth and a different powder drop.

2nd 1050, for 38super, same deal, steel and Open Major.

650 is for 9mm, 45, 223, 308 and anything else I want to only make a few of.
