naim
I’m fairly new to the USPSA revolver game and was wondering what everyone is using for a holster. I have a hogue holster currently but it doesn’t work for me.
AzShooter
Hogue is an excellent holster. Why doesns't it work for you? I like Blade Tech and Fobus holsters. Both aare secure but fast to pull the gun out of.

ajblack
First you need to decide whether you want a conventional holster or a race holster. CR speed and Double Alpha are the two main options for race holsters but there's more manufacturers for conventional holsters. Bladetech doesn't make holsters for many revolvers but you can check out Comp Tac and Speed Beez. I find that most of these plastic holsters are pretty much the same though so if you already have one that you don't like then that may not be the best option Edited January 15, 2019 by ajblack
GMM50
The step up to Race Holster (Double Alpha) will take you some time to setup and master.
Toolguy
I have a Hogue Power Speed holster adapter for revos that makes one holster work for all Smiths from 4" to 8-3/8". It takes a few seconds and no tools to change from one gun to another.
PatJones
The step up to Race Holster (Double Alpha) will take you some time to setup and master.I just took my double alpha off my belt and replaced it with a kydex holster. I don't feel they're any slower and I can be a little more aggressive grabbing the gun.I do use one of the adjustable hangars though, in this case a CR Speed one. I feel adjusting the holster location is important for a consistent draw and grip.
Makicjf
This is the one I use for USPSA. https://www.speedbeez.com/product/blade-tech-pro-series-speed-rig-holster-sw-4-inch-n-frame-2/ I use this one for IDPA. https://www.speedbeez.com/product/speed-beez-outside-the-waist-band-sw-625-627-629-4-inch-tactical-revolver-holster-fits-any-smith-wesson-4-inch-n-frame-idpa-and-uspsa-speed-rig/ Jason Edited January 15, 2019 by Makicjf
pskys2
A Blade Tech with the front cut down a bit. I added the tension screw by replacing the original screw with a knob off of an old 007.

IVC
Double Alpha Racemaster - works for any barrel length and is legal in most games.
