I'm loading 10gr under a 115 and the case is not as full as 9gr of 3N38. Have you noticed any temperature sensitivity? How is ES and SD in 9 major? I’ve found that the Lovex is cleaner and much softer in the hands. In the pic Lovex is on the left and aa#7 right. have you chono the rounds yet? Hard to get anything other than one pound cans here. Thanks for the tip. Edited August 20, 2018 by AKJD

GhostDog
Great powder, leaves a little residue. N350 is cleaner, but D37.1 works the comp better. Above is with Federal 100 primer, I now use F200 and 9.5gr. Lovex is quite temperature sensitive.

GhostDog
No exact chrono data, but I take 5 PF points per 20 degrees celsius loss. Twice that of VV. Based on reports from comparison of others, PF at home vs PF at match.

GhostDog
Chrono’d at a match, 2 degrees C (36F), still made 168.5. At 71F about 171 with F200 primer. Temperature sensitivity less than I expected. Edited November 27, 2018 by GhostDog spelling
dvc4you
Just bought some Lovex D037.1 at Grafs on Black Friday. Will test.....if it is as soft as 3N38 and half as clean will take it at $136 per 8lbs! With regards to 3N38 I am loading 9.6 gr behind MG 124gr at 1.165 OAL and never had a malfunction due to “growing” rounds ...using an Infinity hybrid barrel with 2 3/16 popple holes and binary engineering compensator for a 176PF. If your grip is not secure, and you're not running FAST, and you're not quite sure which target to shoot next, and getting too many C's, D's and M's, dropping your splits down from 0.25 to 0.17 isn't going to help too much. You have to be really doing everything else correctly and looking for a Very Slight improvement to advance, based on the dot settling a LITTLE bit faster. But, the price really doesn't matter if you have a $ 4,000 gun, does it ? This. Each gun is different. Find what works. I tried 3N38 in my Czechmate. 9.2gr with 115 CMJ's. Fed 200 SPP Magnum. Worked, but powder didn't all burn. Switched to Silhouette, very accurate and clean in my CM.

I've tried pretty much every powder suitable for Major 9, (and a few that were not) and I keep gravitating back to HS6. True. It may be a little dirty but it simply works.
