I like looking at the list of members currently reading this topic.  It's like a who's who of forum members who were unlucky enough not to be able to make the nats.  Greetings my fellow jealous shooters.  :D

Just finished gauging my rounds - last load of laundry is in the dryer - we're on our way at o'dark early :)

Carina took 2nd lady!

The "dummy" won a stage... Hey, Phil, not too shabby match for a guy who almost didn't even make it in!!! Nice job!

Very tight match - top 8 all shot GM scores. Just goes to show that one mistake is all it takes to not be on top - and w/ 2 points difference there, it's possibly not even about who makes the least mistakes!! More like, who shoots the most points....

Just finished gauging my rounds - last load of laundry is in the dryer - we're on our way at o'dark early :)

We're currently in Joplin, Missouri. Drove 600 miles in nine hours with about 400 more to go in the morning!

Got plenty of water and tick/chigger spray packed. Anyone know where I can buy some sports chalk in the Hannibal/Quincy area?

Geez! Somehow I feel the difference between 1 and 2 at the World Shoot will be bigger in Production than in Revolver :D

I have mixed emotions - I'm super duper happy that these guys are STILL on top, but I was really really hoping that Smitty or Dummy would overtake TGO this year. Not to be! I believe that IS why we call him THE GREAT ONE

I do find it funny that no one expected anyone BUT Dave to win production. Did y'all notice the points and percentage difference there in production - holy cow!!!! That boy rocks!

Dave Sevigny really is on a different level. This was the first time that I've had to see him shoot more than a stage or two at a time. Wow, he just doesn't make mistakes. It's going to be an interesting World Shoot. Angus would have been a lot closer at this match if not for some problems on a couple stages.

Dammit, just start using ProGrip, will ya??? :) You might find some at a vendor tent. There's a Wal-Mart in Quincy that might have some. Gotta be a sporting goods store around, too....

Good luck :)

It was a good match. I thought the stages were pretty good, much more technical than it looked on paper.

Manny shot a hell of a match, penalty free!!

There were probably 4 guys with a legit shot to win going into the last stage. Rob is the best in the world for a reason, he was down going into the last day, but just kept the pressure on and pulled it out.

I shot decent, it was fun shooting with the big boys. Note to self: don't throw a mike on the last stage of the nationals. Maybe next year.

On to the next match.
