  1. MB user here as well. 34, stock barrel - cleans up easily, no leading .357 (yup) 150 (that weigh 148, MB may be cheap but they can run light) 2.8 Bullseye 1.155 PF= 129 - 131 last time I chrono'd there was only 20fps spread between three shots, only 10 fps off the mean for the hi and lo. Best I've seen for mouse loads. Most accurate load I've found with any bullet/powder. Costs less, uses less powder, most accurate load to date, smokes a little but not enough to bother me, no leading. YMMV, hope that helps.
  2. Thanks! That made my day. Were you running around in your socks? You had some nice slides.
  3. No, (at least not yet...) from the website USPSA Limited/production nationals Sept. 9-12
  4. The most accurate load for my glock 34 is bullseye over a 150 gr. MasterBlaster (.357) bullet. The smoke is a smidge more than FMJ and just as clean in the barrel. It greatly surprised me (and my friend) for whom I was testing this load. He had some bullseye and MB pills he wanted to see if it worked in a glock. It worked so well, he ended up buying a g34 and I switched to this load. More accurate, and less expensive. It was a slam dunk. Plus I haven't had to clean more and no leading after 5k down the barrel. Hope that helps.

    Reapplying TruGrip

My trugrips last a long time and I love them. But I have borderline hyperhidrosis (sweaty palms) and I disintegrate my guitar strings and grips faster than normal. I've had an edge come lose every once in awhile and I've found you can reseal the grip with 3m 77 adhesive. It's a spray that I spray onto a qtip, spread and seal and then the grip will last longer. Hope that helps. Trey
  6. My wish would be for b=4 for major or minor scoring.
  7. +1 to what Lawman said. The CCS is great! In fact, a friend and are headed to the CCS match next weekend.
  8. Homie, I live in Roseburg and understand your pain. Before going to ANY southern section match, call the day before and verify with the local club president that there is going to be a match. My shooting partner has driven to medford and eugene this year and there was no one there on the scheduled match day. Very frustrating. Pm me if you want more details.
  9. Or you're hearing protection falls/knocks off. Then you are allowed to stop yourself. The RO might not see it and it hurts shooting a stage without muffs. I know.
  10. Gene Morin is his name. 3rd open, 4th overall, 1st A. He's my good friend and practice partner. Not bad for a guy who shoots a revo for only a few months every year.
  11. Try different powders (even fast ones), you might be surprised. I switched to MB this year. The most accurate load for my glock 34 is bullseye over a 150 gr. MB (.357) bullet. The smoke is the nearly the same as FMJ and just as clean in the barrel. No leading at all. It greatly surprised me (and my friend) for whom I was testing this load. He had some bullseye and MB pills, he wanted to see if it worked in a glock. It worked so well, he ended up buying a g34 and I switched to this load. More accurate, and less expensive. It was a slam dunk. Hope that helps.

  14. My practice partner has one for icore. It is a tack driver. He gets 2" groups at 50 yards. I would buy one in a heartbeat, if I shot revolver. He paid $850 for his.
  15. I've recently started doing match warm up and I really like it. It helps me get in the "shooting mode." Steve Anderson has a great match warm up that is in his new book. You can see it on the preview he has on his web site. I use his warm up process. I also cut some small metric targets from grocery bags and stapled them to the safety area to warm up. Here's a pic. http://jerrythegeek.arpc-ipsc.org/gallery/7a3s/HPIM2615 You can see a print out from Steve's preview on my range bag.
  16. Perry, Glad to help. I'm glad you got it in. Did you also blue loc tite the screw as well? That will help keep it from backing out. I always do with mine. Once I put it in, I want it to stay in.
  17. I've had to "tap" mine in and it fits in very snug. Is your fit too loose or too tight? Too tight, use a rubber mallet and try to tap it in. I used a piece of wood on top of the sight to protect it from the hammer. Hope that helps.
  18. Before switching to 147's, I shot alot of MG FMJ 124's with titegroup. You can load them fairly low. Try some titegroup (shoots great, less filling). Not as "poofy" as 147's, but not as snappy as 115's data at www.hodgdon.com For my glock's, I load 1.150-1.155. Hope that helps. Trey
  19. You can get down to 65.68 (230 gr. RN) delivered if you buy the maxi case from MB. He gives a good discount for a small bulk order.
  20. Yup. Try www.masterblastersbullets.com
  21. For my AA 22 glock conversion, cci mini mags (36 or 40 grain) work the best. My friend's sti/marvel open gun, it runs best on the 40 grain mini mags.
  22. Also, you could get 40/180 gr. Master Blaster poly coated bullets for as low as 54 per 1k. That might help lower the bullet costs.
  23. I've lost cr speed screws, nuts and DP front sight screws. I called them up and they shipped me free replacements. Their customer service is excellent. I'm sure they will take care of you.
  24. Yes, See section 5 in the rule book
