I've had no issues with SVI aluminum followers in 9/38 but sometimes the .40 followers let a round get underneath them when dropped. TTI will get stuck side by side with a bullet in 9/38 SV mags if the ribs haven't been crimped down all the way to the basepad. All tubes are a little different so YMMV, of course.
