  1. At the range right now and am able to get 30 9mm rounds in my 170mm MBX magazine. It is reloadable and reliable. 30+1 to start is awesome for 9mm. Using an STI frame and polymer grip. I had to use a mag loader to get the 30th round in there and compact the rounds just like in Adrian's instructional video.

    RTS 2

I have had one of the older version RTS2 and all I did was the rubber band fix. It lasted for about 4,000 rounds on a frame mounted open gun running 173 power factor. This past weekend it shut off on me during a match and would not come back on. I do have another RTS2 that got the updates available as of July this year. It has the upgraded circuit board and battery compartment fix. Will see how long this one will run while I send the other one back.
  3. Glad to hear that the newer design is working for you. I guess I have been lucky with my back-up RTS2 that I have been currently running while my other one is at Cmore. It is not the newer design and I did do the rubber O ring fix and it has been running fine for 1,000+ rounds. No issues with it turning off or losing brightness.
  4. So I just got an update from Cmore on the RTS2 I sent in that was dim. They tried cleaning the diode, but it did not fix the issue. They are waiting for the new updated circuit boards to replace mine. They said hopefully I should get it back sometime next week.
  5. That is actually an RTS1. So the RTS2 sits a little bit lower.
  6. Update: I purchased another RTS2 6 moa and it is just as bright and more defined than my standard cmore. I am completely happy with it now. Contacted cmore about the dim one and mailed it out today for them to take a look at it. Thanks everyone for your input. I like the sight and setup and didn't want to give up on it thinking the dimness of the dot was just the way it is. I'll update again with what cmore says. I had tried multiple brands of batteries and didn't see any difference in the brightness.
  7. Reload one and see if your sizing die will remove it. Case gauge them or drop test into your barrel to see if they will chamber afterwards. I lose my brass before I wear them out. I load them for both minor and major.
  8. Yeah I'm interested in what you observe.
  9. The standard Cmore is a 6moa dot. The same as the RTS2.
  10. I read people saying that the brightness on their RTS2 dot is brighter or just as bright as the standard Cmore. When comparing my RTS2 to a standard Cmore, the brightest setting on my RTS2 is not as bright. I would say maybe 3/4th full brightness on the Cmore is the max brightness i'm getting on the RTS2. I am wondering if mine is defective? Anyone else have these results?
  11. I tried FrogLube and it wasn't for me. I saw that it made my slide very sluggish in my use. I also got tired of heating the gun up with a hair dryer. My wife also appreciates her hair dryer not going missing here and there.
  12. Welcome fellow Texan from Arlington.
  13. Been separating them for a couple years now. It's a part of shooting 45. However, first time hearing someone say it is inconsiderate to shoot 45 spp cases. Mark your brass and only pick up yours if that is such a huge problem. Then you won't pick up anyone's spp brass.
  14. 014 for me also with ELS belt. So much range for adjustments to get it just right.
  15. If you are happy with the way the gun was performing, I say just replace the springs to the same weight you were using. If you feel you want to experiment to see if you can squeeze out more performance, you should try a full length tungsten guide rod. Going from the GI to FLGR probably won't notice any difference, but the tungsten guide rod will add a little non-reciprocating weight out front which may help with quicker sight recovery. It is all personal preference, having a gun run the way YOU want it to run is all the reason you need to experiment with different parts.
  16. Im another Hornady LNL press user. I load 9, 40, and 45 all with dillon dies without problems and get great consistency.
  17. You could start off by first labeling all your mags so you can determine if the failures are with all your mags or isolate it to a certain one.
  18. 014 for me. Have been extremely happy with mine.
  19. Welcome to the forums fellow Texan!
  20. Welcome to the forums. You won't regret reloading.
  21. Fall in line and backorder where you can. Then keep checking gunbot.
  22. I use a Comp-tac Minotaur MTAC with a 1911 for IWB. Comfortable and stable. The Infidel Ultra may suit your needs. I agree with this. That is too much going on for IWB.
  23. Welcome to the forums from Arlington, Texas.
  24. I got those PF's with my 9 major Akai Katana that has 6 small barrel holes. I did load the 125gr BBI bullets with 7.2gr Autocomp and was getting 178PF with still no smoke. I would suspect even with the 115's you will achieve the velocity you want at a lower charge than when using the same bullet weight of jacketed or plated.
  25. Kydex paddle holsters from blade tech or comp-tac are a good place to start.
