dafdov368
I have a DAA racemaster and really like it. I've also heard that the magnetic universal shooting academy holster that manny makes is awesome, just not left handed... yet...
G34 CORDY
Speaking about holsters should I just get a BT DOH for my edge or run a race holster?
G34 CORDY
Looks like I will be going with the race master looks like a good piece. Edited August 17, 2013 by G34 CORDY
warpspeed
I have always been partial to the Safariland stuff.
1911aow
I much prefer my CR Speed over any pouch style holster. Had to use a Blade tech for IDPA last weekend. Wished for and missed that CR Speed holster on every draw!
Julien Boit
I recently transitionned from the CR Speed to the DAA Race Master and I'm very happy with it.My draws are more consistent. The holster is very secure when locked, tension is adjustable and you can adjust its position on almost every aspect.
APL-G35
Another for DAA
EkuJustice
Another DAA vote Its very secure when locked and its easy to unlock on the draw
Tino2212
And yet another vote for the DAA Race Master or if you dont need the option to buy another insert block if you change gun you can also look at the Racer version . Very smooth draw but rock solid lock .
1911Prof
+1 for the DAA. I have had Safariland and Ghost but the Racemaster is more secure and smoother.
Jukez
I like my ghost but DAA sounds nice due to the changeable insert
blaster113
Another vote for the DAA Racemaster. Smooth draw but rock solid retention with the lock on. Even without the lock engaged retention is good. If changeable inserts is not an issue then the cheaper Racer model is an option. Personally I dont mind the extra cost for the nicer aluminum body of the RM. Used to use a CR Speed; draw was quick but the holster is not very secure. Always felt the gun was ready to fall out even with the lock engaged.
andersonj55126
DAA all the way. I love my Racemaster.
azgoose
+1 for DAA. Transitioned from a CR Speed WSM II for my XDM. I did not care how it fit in the holster, felt very insecure and had too much movement when locked in. The Race Master is really secure, no play what-so-ever and very adjustable. mwf008
DAA Racer here. Started with a blade tech and upgraded to the DAA and much prefer it. I chose the DAA over the others because of the retention excellent retention.
SpankYa
I use a DAA Race Master, but I don't think it's any faster for me than a Bladetech DOH. It is highly adjustable so you can get the angle to exactly where your hand drops down, but like anything, you can probably adapt pretty quickly to an almost perfect angle as well. dover0020
DAA Racemaster You won't be disappointed.
Mike21STI
I picked up a gugas ribas from a forum member here, its similar to the Daa, I've been happy with it so far.
424D57
Another hearty vote for the racemaster here, though I will add that if running 3gun matches the racemaster might make me nervous. Been thinking of picking up a blade tech for MG. -424D57
arkcomatt
The Racemaster is great. Not worried about running with it. It is more secure than most others.

Seth
I have pretty much nothing nice to say about race holsters. I've tried them all. And I mean all. I use Kydex. Fast, safe and no gimmicks.
