  1. There is only one Yigal, the rest are all just copies
  2. A Cr Speed WSM II, specifically set up for a Tanfoglio is what was used to win the last 7 x IPSC World Shoots. 5 x in Open division, 1 x in Production and 1 x in Standard division. No better holster out there.
  3. Bapple: Thats the one I carry. Very happy with it so far,
  4. I carry a Tanfoglio Force PRO. It is a 3.6" coned/bull barrel with a polymer frame in 9mmP. Similar in size to a G19. I shoot a S2 in production. Had a dovetail cut into the slide to fit a FO front sight but otherwise it is stock. Not going to do any work to the trigger as, although heavy, I prefer it that way for an EDC gun. Have about 1500 rounds through it so far and have been very happy with it. No failures, good accuracy and I shoot it well. My s2 mags fit it as well.
  5. Will they fit the Small Frame Stock 2 frame as well?
  6. Please contact Tazio at tazio@rescomp.co.za There is an attachment for the Tanfoglio line and spesific setup directions in a Youtube video as well.
  7. Will the LARGE FRAME Stock 2 grips fit a small frame Stock 2? Anybody know, perhaps?
  8. I have been shooting a Stock III for a couple of weeks. You have to get used to the extra weight of the gun, but it is extremely soft shooting and exceptionally accurate. Very happy with mine. The Extreme sear made a massive difference to the trigger reset and weight.
  9. I would also be interested in a set. These should sell very well IMHO
  10. Do they make these for the SMALL frame Tanfo's at all?
  11. Has anybody tried the Hogue G10 grips yet? Whats your verdict?
  12. Very interested to hear which of the 2 guns you prefer and what the difference in cycling and recoils is. Please keep us updated.
  13. The Bul single stack guns use all traditional 1911 parts.
  14. The grips have the same contour as factory grips, cause they are the factory grips! IPSC Legal. Check the IPSC FAQ and rulebook on the website.
  15. Ipsc rules state that you can use any grips that have the same contour as factory grips. You can thus use the EGD or Henning panels or sand and alter the factory wood grips and still remain Production legal. As long as the profile isn't changed to a wrap-around style with finger grooves or with a built in magwell you are good to go. To give an example using the CZ Shadow, it is possible to use VZ grip panels, DAA grips panels and the like and remain IPSC legal but you may not use the Hogue wraparound grips with the finger grooves.
  16. I have been shooting IPSC Classic division for the last 3 years and shot Classic at the WS in Florida last year. During the 1st year I shot a .45ACP in Major. i then sa the light and switched to a Minor gun. I have never looked back and have been much more succesful with the Minor gun than I ever was with the Major gun. The 2 extra rounds in IPSC stages just gives you so many more options and I shoot the minor gun just so much better than the Major gun. As long a I shoot 90%+ of the available score on the stage, I am competitive with the major guns. I am currently running: BUL M5 1911 Goverment model in 9mm Para with a fully supproted bull barrel(cone barrel) Metalform 10 round mags Rescomp Mainspring housing and magwell (similar to S&A, but slightly bigger) BUL G10 grips (similar to VZ grips) Aftec extractor Rescomp fibre optic front sight Kensight rear sight Rescomp s/s full lentgh guide rod Shooting 124gr plated bullets The gun has been flawless and the most accurate pistol I have ever owned.
  17. Send Tazio an email at tazio@rescomp.co.za He will gladly assist you with directions.
  18. Sorry for a slight thread drift.... I am about to purchase either a Stock 2 or a Stock 3. (Lim Pro is not available where I live.) I really like the longer sight radius of the Stock 3 and prefer the "feel" and slightly nose heavy feel of the S3 over the S2, but my mind keeps telling me the lighter slide and cone barrel of the Stock 2 will be better I am at wits end, and suffering from analysis paralysis... I have to decide within the next day or two. Any advice from the BEnos family will be appreciated. ( dont have a chance to shoot both guns or else that would have probably solved the problem) Thanks in advance and sorry for the drift....
  19. Could I ask why you need a match barrel? Accuracy not up to par? Lacking? Im in the market for a S3 and have seen very good reports on accuracy. Is the S2 better due to the cone barrel?
  20. StrongArm67: Have a look at the Tanfoglio Extreme DA trigger that Eric Grauffel sells. Very similar to the one shown above. Great looking gun! Must be a lot of fun to shoot in 9mmP!
  21. I have used the Mako grips extensively. Excellent value at the price. There is enough material to blend/contour the sides of the magwell to your particular pistol. i did mine with a Dremel and sanding discs. I used the magwell grips for 3 years, during preparation for the IPSC World Shoot and at the WS in 2014. Never had the plastic crack or chip. I was/am still very impressed with these especially for the price you pay for them.
  22. I also compete with a Bul 1911 in 9x19mm. It is an absolute joy to shoot and way more accurate than I will ever be. Extremely well made and incredible value for money.
  23. FYI - Top 3 places at the 2015 IPSC Nationals in Classic division all shot Minor last weekend. Todd Jarret placed 4th with a Major gun. IPSC rules stipulates no more than 9 rounds per position, which works in the favor of Minor guns. USPSA is more balanced in requiring no more than 8 shots from a position..
