Religious Shooter
Looking for recommendations for a non-smelling CLP for away matches. I usually use Breakfree CLP. At matches I usually have to clean my guns in my hotel room. I find that BCLP stinks up the trash and immediate area. I'm not sure but that smell may have been the reason why one hotel we stayed at charged us extra (after the fact) for cleaning up the room after our stay. Given that, any recommendations for an odor free CLP (or any multi product combination) for pistol and long guns?
hitman_usmc
Froglube. It's minty fresh.
EkuJustice
clenzoil or use air freshiner and throw out the rags you have the CLP outside the room
GeorgeD
I use Froglube, it works good. Doesnt have a chemical smell. Smells like menthol. A lot of internet hype behind it, some folks have problems with it not running in cold weather. But I have yet to have a problem. Its not a magic lube like some have claimed it to be, but it has worked well for me, I now run it exclusively. George
Shadowrider
Fireclean is a "CLP" type product and a very good cleaner. Has no smell at all that I can detect. I like Froglube better but Fireclean is a very close second.
maka
Give BoreTech a try, e.g. Eliminator and Gun Oil.
Bryan 45
I've been using FIREClean. No odor, works good. Better than everything else? I don't know, but I have no complaints with it. It seems to stay on the surfaces to which it's applied, and really does well at cutting carbon.
DillBill
Boretech's stuff has very little smell. The eliminator doesn't have a pleasant smell, but it's barely noticable. Their C4 carbon remover has a nice wintergreen smell.

P.E. Kelley
http://www.3inone.com/about/history/ 3 in one oil (CLP before CLP). Fancy schmancy gun oil...really??? under what heavy stress do the reciprocating parts run under? Mobile One is great too. Some parts like grease...Slide Glide and White Lithium. Jaxshooter
Another vote for Frog Lube. I was skeptical at first but used it and was very pleased with the results. Makes cleaning much eaiser also.
Romans 13 4
Yet another Frog Lube user here. Smells great and cuts my cleaning time in half.
Graham Smith
Well, this is not an answer to your question, but I usually take some baggies and Scott Shop Towels. All the trash goes in a bag and the bag goes in a trash can outside.

Bryan 45
I can't think of the last time I cleaned a gun at a match..... I have been guilty of putting a little lube on my rifle on the morning of the 3rd day of a match though.

Religious Shooter
I can't think of the last time I cleaned a gun at a match..... Well this particular incident was on the way to a match (Ironman). We hadn't fired a shot yet and had dirty guns to begin with. We had stayed at this hotel numerous times and the only time they dinked us like that was when we cleaned our guns. I guess it was like smoking in a non-smoking room. I clean my guns during Ironman as well. If I don't clean my guns sometime during Ironman (especially the shotgun)... I have problems. The Parma dust, relatively longer stage times and higher rounds counts can take its toll.
9X23Guy
Militec synthetic gun lube. Mobil one works too but smells like, well, engine oil.
soterik
If you want smells good, then Froglube is the only option I know of. If you want odorless I think you are out of luck.
