I have used N320 and it works fine. I have used WSF and 231, both okay. Fortunately I got some N320 when it was cheaper than it is now. Of course after seeing what some companies are charging N320 still looks good.

I shoot a lot of CCI and Aguila standard velocity, and CCI mini mags. I don’t particularly like Remington ammo but haven’t tried any lately, and I hope their QC has improved. I stay away from Winchester and Armscor. You will find many opinions on rimfire ammo. I will add that SK Pistol Match ammo was very accurate.

Thanks for the info! 14% is a good break on proce.

I am going to order some to try out. Is the smoke any better/worse than other coated bullets?

Positive Feed Powder Baffle

Interesting, what brand is that? -
Indeed sir, YOLO! Excellent reason to get the Competitor.

Well, no not really. Can’t see Smith being that wild. I did look at a Desert Eagle with that paint job. Since I like shooters as compared to safe queens I will stay with stainless steel as much as I can. But if I win the big lottery………

Most impressive! I was kinda sorta satisfied with the wheelguns I have but alas, no more. Is that a factory option?
-
A front sight is, to me, a fuzzy appendage that’s seldom visible. A red dot is more better.
-
Good looking wheelguns! Who sells those barrels and is the accuracy as good as the factory barrels?

I put one in a Gen 4 34 and it is the best trigger I’ve got. My own trigger jobs/replacing parts is fairly decent but this was good enough I plan to put on in a Gen 5 34.

I have procrastinated on getting a fire extinguisher but now I’m going to, especially like the CO2 idea as I’ve dealt with cleaning up behind a standard fire extinguisher and I’d hate to think about my Dillon getting hosed with one. Edited to add I prefer Dillon spray lube to One Shot but both are good. I do wonder if a fire like this is as exciting as setting off a full tube of primers? A memorable occasion and not one I plan to repeat.

I didn’t know about this die but I like it. As soon as one is in stock for 45 Colt I will get that one. Good call on that one Sarge. -
Mr.Bulletfeeder Gen 2 released
21 shooter replied to Tampa-XD45's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
I now have several extra ball bearings I got in an order from Dillon. Lurking somewhere in my basement are a number of those little devils. Amazing how something can fall 2 feet and run a zig zag course for a country mile never to be seen again. Maybe the shop vac will get them, serves ‘em right. -
Don’t Dry Fire Your Revolver Or You’ll Break The Firing Pin
21 shooter replied to RangerMcFadden's topic in Revolver Forum
What model is that and is it MIM? I do very little dry firing on any S&W unless it’s a frame mounted firing pin. Perhaps I should reconsider. It’s also nice to have good friends! -
Or she sold it for what he said he gave for it. LOL!

Primer prices are easing a little but right now you can probably buy 9mm as cheap or cheaper than you can load it. The difference might be the quality of the ammo you load yourself.

All opinions are welcome. It could be a waste of money and the folks on this forum are a great source of knowledge on subjects like this. The Dillon locators are aluminum and seem to get dinged up easily or wear quickly. I have bought a replacement or two from Dillon and they have replaced one free of charge. Im simply looking at long term use. I used to load a lot more than I do now, but I have also added a couple more calibers to load for. Not complaining about Dillon quality just looking for a better option on this particular item.
-
I have had the Dillon locators get dinged up over the years and not work as well as they did when they were new or low mileage. This Armanov is a little pricey but it is stainless steel. I have never bought anything from this company before, experience and opinions welcomed. https://www.armanov.com/shop/station-one-locator-for-dillon-xl650-xl750-2284?category=11#attr=1392,1411

M29 44 mag S&W screw on front of trigger guard?
21 shooter replied to missed it by that much's topic in Revolver Forum
Interesting, I don’t remember seeing one like this. -
That’s good shooting any day of the week…
-
That SD is impressive. I shot that load many years ago with a 124/125 jacketed bullet and it shot great in 1911’s. I’m guessing you got good accuracy with the 929?
-
Thanks Hogrider. I’ve used N320 for many years with a 147 grain, mostly Bayou polymer coated, with a few jacketed along the way. Now that N330 is available I wanted to try it as many have said it was great in a 9mm. I like the Legion but the accuracy of the CZ S2 is impressive especially for a stock pistol. I hope they expand the optic ready lineup.
