I thought you were in Europe, using Lovex and Ares You stated that you reload together. But do all 3 of you make your own ammo or do you make 1 batch and use from the same batch? Did you try ammo that is not crimped? I never used Ares bullets but 1.06 (or 26.9 mm) seems short for a S2. I use LOS 124 and load at 28.9 without any problems. Maybe check http://reloaddata.pl/en/load_by_caliber/1/?sort=bullet&page=4 You might need to register but it can give you some reference at what coal others are loading Before starting any work on the barrel I would check and recheck and make shure you dont make any mistake during reloading. Maybe (just to make shure) try a couple of other bullets.

Personally I would never put my complete gun in an ultra sonic cleaner. Not even the assembled sear cage.

You cant order Slides, barrels or frames.

$ 40 for a front sight???? I took one from my spare box and cut the top of in about 1 minute, 3 minutes filing and some cold blueing

I checked an almost unused an untouched factory sear cage and that has a flat machined service on the end. If I found a sear cage with a piece (broken??) of, I would replace it, especially if I had ejection problems

I whished I knew at what compressed size manufacturers rate hammer and recoil springs because I measured the s... out of them and never came close to any advertised pressure. If you're close to the lightest usable spring rate changing springs based on manufacturers ratings is a risk. In the past I noticed the the 1911 users are more advanced on this subject.

My front sight is at the exact same height as the bottom of my Vortex Venom window. The dot is in the middle. I does not interfere When I mounted my red dot I also wanted to remove the front post and cut down an old front sight that I had laying around and soon found out that this was a useless action.

measuring 8 different (new) springs some time ago I noticed that the values from the 3 different brands were of by at least 2-3 pounds. So spring with a certain compressed length and advertised as 16 pound springs would give the same value as springs advertised as 13 pounds at that same length. I have had springs with the same value from the same manufacturer that were 2 pounds of. I personally could not find any logical correlation between the advertised values, the actual value and the installed height when springs were mounted in the gun. I'm talking about hammer springs here but I have no reason to believe mainsprings are any different (better) I wished manufactures (aftermarket springs and guns) would state how they rate their springs. That wouldn't be to hard as this is standard for (f.i.) valve springs. With a hammer spring I can measure changes, with a main spring it's trail and error. In shooting we are talking about grains, grams and 1/100th of millimeters that could make a difference but with springs we are left in the dark.

I mounted a Cajun bushing and found no difference at all. Not in fitting the barrel and not in accuracy.

I have a 75B slide stop that I filed and carry in my range bag just in case. You will lose the hold open function and I dont see it as spare, more as a bandaid. I filed of the complete end. My advice is that you buy a proper one as a spare.

I use a rcbs puller die for rn 9mm and for. 223 and Never had a probleem. hornady lock and load Quick release colars on all my dies so changing is a breeze. a lot cleaner, quicker then my hammer

Why is nobody talking about the hand fitted slide in de Orange? Apart from the barrel bushing you can get the trigger as good as you want with aftermarket parts but you can get the slide fit any better.

I think relative spring measuring is the most underrated part of gun maintence. Have you ever measured NEW springs and found them to be of lower pressure (or higher pressure) then the one your replacing it with, although the had the same value on the package ?? I have, several. Recoil and hammer springs.

I took a dremmel with a 10mm standing rol and made two slight cut out for my middel and ring finger. than with a small 2.mm hand drill I drilled some dimples in the finger grooves.

Maybe I'm not geting your problem right. (I'm not english native spoken) I understand that you right hand safety came out and locked up the gun. This happend to me with my 75B and it was due to a not correctly seated and slightly bent sear spring The CZ 75 concept was new to me at that time and I mis treated the spring a little when installing the left hand safety but didnt notice it at the time.

My guns dont have mood swings. As I take it out of the bag at the range it doenst think "Hey, today I'm going to fake a headache and misfire" There is always a reason. I changed parts and got the wrong combination, a part was worn or broken, I used different ammo, I did something wrong, it's dirty at a critcial place or the enviromental conditons are out of the normal. I have a Hammerli SP20 in 22lr and I fired 8-9000 CCI SV through it during training with 1 malfunction due to not cocking corrrectly. You might think that cant be true, CCI SV isnt that realiable. I have no reason to lie or brag about it, it's just my experience. I shoot 50 rounds a session and clean the critical parts after every 4 sessions. I hardly ever clean the inside of the barrel. In my opinion you cant dump 1000 rounds thru a gun, dump it in the bag, take it out next week and think it's ok to fully rely on it. I dont go to a docter who takes a needle out of the garbage can, looks at it and says "it looks sharp and clean, lets use it again"

The S2 was designed with IPSC production in mind. One in the chamber, hammer down, DA first shot, reload before you are out. The are also people who claim Cz magazines are junk because if you slam them in, the bottom falls out. But then again, I dont use my guns as jack stand either.
