I started with 115 gr xtreme rn and worked up my hs6 loads to 7.7 . All loads are 1.160 and federal match small rifle primers. I followed some opinions saying lighter bullet more powder = more gas for the comp. At c2 tactical PHX AZ an employee test fired my gun and said harsh and to the right recoil, he owns an atlas chaos. He also said might be the 115 grn bullets. So I switched to 124 berry .356 bumped it up to 7.5 hs6 off the bat and the video shows what I got. My grip is not real tight I did not flex any muscles like I would if I was shooting a .357 hot loaded. Any opinions ? you can go slow mo on the video in the youtube settings. Thinking some more I will offer some of the great guys at c2 way better shooters than me to test fire and then post some more videos. IMHO a few more tenths of grains up might be good. And buy 1 of their targets take it home draw lines spaced on blank side, use that as a back drop behind a shooter to evaluate recoil flip.

with the 750 if you dont buy a case feeder right away, you can extend the clear case feed tube a bit, then put a small funnel on top, and then you can load the case feeder with a fair amount of cases. imho get an extra index ring they are plastic and can break, scenario primer was not removed completely operator pulls handle primer locks up breaks index ring. The ergo handle on ebay inlinefabrication is an awesome upgrade.

Finally got to shoot my new to me used 2011 style frame with sti slide 3 port comp. This is not a I need x power factor. The short oal is for my cz shadow 2 that is also getting a comp barrel on order. Started with 1.13 oal 124 grain berry round nose win 231 4.0 gr . Shot about the same as. 1.13 oal 124 grain berry round nose win 231 4.3 gr . Ejection was maybe 2 - 3 feet from gun. Couple stove pipes not enough power to work the slide. This is with a taylor tactical 8 # recoil spring then quickly went to the 7 # spring same thing. Wolf variable light springs are ordered. From what Ive read for a comp gun get a light bullet 115 or less. Use slow burn comp powder. I would like to try to get the 231 to work within reason I have 13 pounds. If I am wasting my time with 231 please advise what powder to use. I have 5k + extreme 115 grain round nose and hollow points and the same 124. Any advice thanks editing looking for max powder for 115 vs 124 .

The pistol was on g broker in Phoenix 1/2 hour drive from me so I looked at it and bought it impulse. The owner said it was a custom build from accuracy unlimited az. My local gunsmith said it locks up tight looks good about sub 2 # trigger. I expressed my concerns about alum frame etc. We talked about oil for the frame. Barrel says .355 so only .355 ? cant go .356 ? opinions vary depends who is asked forums etc. Asking here. Shadow 2 insert loaded mag on an open slide from firing then slide goes forward into battery sometimes. Does not seem to happen with empty mag at home I tried moving slide release down a bit before inserting empty mag. I now have some some snap caps so will give that a try. Maybe it is because I am using lower recoil spring? Too much oil on parts? Berry 124 rn 3.8 grain win 231 light and easy target loads. Also is it normal that my brass ejects directly to the right of me ? Its about 6-8 feet. 90 to 110 degrees thanks
