  1. ‘X5 legions made after February, now have an extra set of holes that fit the rmr pattern.
  2. it’s direct milled onto a p320 legion
  3. I broke over 10 DPP in 2018. They have supposedly redesigned the circuit board, but I’ve since moved on.....
  4. I’ve taken atleast 6 r3s over 10k. If your r3 makes it to 5k, you are unlikely to have future issues with the l/r adjustment knob or the dot flat out dying. Can it still break? Sure it can.... I’ve probably run 8-10 different r3 with no issues, and I’m probably pushing my luck. ive run them both with and without plates. After fully committing to the r3, I had a couple slides direct milled and have been using those since late last year.
  5. I use a r3xl on my p320 legions. 22k on one, 5k on another. Before that I probably had 30k on some r3maxs. I’ve had zero issues, that said I’ve talked to others that have had issues, most common seems to be the L R adjusmtent screw not holding zero, I’ve also heard of some dying right out of the box or shortly after. every dot is gonna have issues, but it seems if you make it to 5k you are gtg.

    Grip modules

For what? USPSA? Legion grip, hands down.
  7. there is no such thing.
  8. Every time I've tried to strengthen my grip with these things, I end up messing up the tendons in my hand. The first time I used them I think I over did it, and ended up developing trigger finger. From that point on any time I try to work on grip strength I develop problems. I ended up getting surgery to repair the trigger finger last winter, but I am hesitant to use the things again, lest I mess something else up.

it’s a legion grip, you can tell by the color.

    X5 Legion accuracy

Max Michel posted a pic of his p320 on Facebook and interestingly it looks as if he has an X5 upper on a legion lower.

    X5 Legion accuracy

I think the normal X5 locks up more consistently because of the pre tension.

    X5 Legion accuracy

In my experience the p320 legion shoots noticeably larger groups than the original p320 x5.
  14. personally I had problems with lighter springs in the original x5. Others claimed not to..... I have no issues running a 12lb spring in a legion.
  15. They lock up slightly different. The older X5 slide has more pre tension.
  16. The striker spring is definitely softer. I recently had to replace one. The legion spring is longer but noticeably softer when installing it. I found that it made very minimal difference in pull weight compared to a standard 320 striker spring, maybe 1/3 of a pound.
  17. Just a quick note that I’ve hit 20k on a romeo3 xl with no issues. Seems to be holding up ok.
  18. I recently started using a batch of ammo I made several months ago, using Winchester primers, and silicon spray to lube them. So far I’ve had 25-30 dead primers. Could it be the silicon spray? Maybe? I’ve never had this scale of bad primers before. I’ve shot ammo that used silicon on the primers with no issues before, so I dunno.
  19. I had this problem with my DAA pouches when they were new. Either use a smaller or larger insert with more tension on the screw knob, or you can bend the leaf spring a bit more. I also polished the inserts a bit with plastic polish to reduce the friction.
  20. A year is about all I get out of mine as well, with daily use.
  21. Montana matches are still on. As much as I’d like to, I don’t plan on attending, even if they actually take place.
