  1. They won’t sell the parts individually unless you have proof of purchase for the full kit
  2. Pretty much no difference. Those guide rods were developed before the legion was released, for the p320 x5, that had a captured guide rod.
  3. I use the TSA trigger. It’s good. The magill trigger must be incredible to get him to switch..
  4. He mentions it on his paid training page. I’d guess the change was fairly recent.
  5. It’s been around for over a year now. I don’t think it will be available publicly any time soon.
  6. From what I’ve heard, his trigger job is quite good. There are a few people testing it for him. Supposedly he plans to mass produce it at some point under the glockstore name. The glockstore also carries p320 parts now, I guess he’s branching out..
  7. The secret is, he doesn’t use a legion at all. It’s a pieced together p320. X5 slide, barsto barrel, legion lower with Lenny magill trigger work.

    X5 Legion accuracy

Not sure where you got that info, but looking at this pic USPSA put up from the 2020 nationals, he’s clearly using the older X5 upper. You can tell by the optics plate.
  9. I agree with that, however it’s what I can easily get right now for bullets, so I’m trying to make it work.
  10. I ran out 100 using a Redding crimp die instead of the Lee. I’ll see if I can tell any difference when I next make it to the range. It’s currently supposed to snow 4” tonight, so it may be a bit...
  11. That seems pretty unlikely. I’ve used the same rest for years with no issues.
  12. i do use a FCD. I was under the impression that it couldn’t swage jacketed bullets. That said, it’s at the top of the list of things I’m suspicious of.....
  13. I was squared up to the target. The odd holes being caused by an angle was the first thing I ruled out.
  14. I thought about the angle thing, I was shooting straight at it.
  15. As the wait for bullets has become longer and longer, I’ve been trying out some different bullets and loads. Currently I have some 147gr Montana gold that I’ve been working with. when I was testing them out I noticed that the bullet holes aren’t nice and round like they should be. Instead I’m getting some tumbling. The holes are oblong with a slight tail at 9-12 o’clock. the load is 147gr mt gold bullet 3.6 gr of sport pistol 1.140 oal and .378 crimp im shooting it out of a p320 x5 with a barsto barrel. im not over crimping, and I have plenty of velocity at 137ish PF. Any ideas on what I can do to get theses to work?
  16. Was cruising around locallly today looking for primers. 2 of the 3 stops had a legion in stock.
  17. It needs to break in. Or you can polish the insert to speed things up. I’ve had this issue with p320 mags back to the race master pouches. Usually after a couple weeks of use the issue goes away.
  18. As long as the parts come from another p320 that is on the approved list, it’s completely legal to mix and match.
  19. When the drama comes directly from the president of USPSA, that’s a problem. Apathy towards the situation is what caused it in the first place.
  20. Never had any issues with the X5 as long as I used a 14lb recoil spring.
