  1. Came to $67 per 1k SPP. Suck, but better than some alternatives I guess. I’m glad I still have a stockpile.
  2. I haven’t seen any official word from sig. the lockup is significantly different though
  3. Given today’s options, I wouldn’t use anything other than a SRO or R3 for gaming.
  4. Barrels don’t make much difference. It’s all in the slide. I’ve had barsto barrels fitted on legions, they made minimal difference. The Barrel that GG is using on Lockwood’s gun looks like some kind of cut down Sig X5 barrel.
  5. There are some differences in the slide.
  6. For the last year+ I’ve been using a P320 Legion for CO. Before that I used a P320 X5. I’d guess I have atleast 150k+ rounds on the 2 different styles of P320. That said, my season has wound down I’ve been messing with various configurations to find out what works best. To put it plainly, IMO the legion is just not a very accurate gun. Sure, it’s more that sufficient to be rated “combat accurate”, but at farther distances it struggles. A lot of this has to do with how picky it is about what ammo you use. It seems like it likes 124gr bullets the best. But even then it’s not what I would consider great. In the end I generally considered a 2-2.5” group at 15 yards from a rest about as good as it got.. Some loads I used were much worse. I dusted off some of my X5s, and you know what? It’s easily twice as accurate as the legion. And it’s less picky about the ammo. Essentially at 15 yards I’d get a 1”ish group, with a wider variety of ammo. Stuff that absolutely would not group out of the legion will group just fine with the X5. Seems like Sig took a step backwards with the legion, and it’s hard to understand why. I know a lot of people didn’t understand the X5s pre tension and that is likely why it was changed. But, IMO it reduced the accuracy a good bit. I’m sure that some will chime in that their p320 legion will shoot the eye out of a bird flying... but that seems to be the exception and you see many more people complaining about legion accuracy. Because I have TSA trigger work, I ended up putting a X5 upper on a legion lower. This maintained the accuracy and everything seems to work ok. I’m going to give this a try for awhile. in any case, I’d be interested to hear about other people experiences with the legion comapred to x5.
  7. ‘I just received the bullets last week, so whatever their current method is.
  8. BB 135gr .356 3.6 Sport pistol 1.135” 135ish PF used that most of the last 2 years.. been playing around with other bullets recently though. Blue bullets is months behind fufilling their orders.
  9. I loaded up some BBI for the first time this week. I found them accurate but noticeably smokier than blue bullets. I use sport pistol powder and load to 135pf.
  10. I remember reading that the Lee U die was .002 under and the EGW was .001, is that not he case?
  11. ‘one less part to fail
  12. I used Vulcan machine works. They did a great job.
  13. Fair enough.. I might have to give you a try. Every manufacturer I normally deal with is a minimum 8 week wait....
  14. I don’t get why bullet manufacturers are so far behind, when primers have been non existent for 5+ months now.......
  15. ‘you can move the Trigger work to other guns and slides. You just need to move the firing pin assembly with the fcu.
  16. Had to switch back to Winchester primers today. What An exercise in frustration.
  17. I use the TSA trigger all this year, in 2019 I used the GG kit. I prefer the TSA trigger. it has a much shorter reset and a clean break. That said, they are both good triggers and the TSA trigger is only slightly better IMO.
  18. The barrel change was made around the end of last year. The new barrel has more case support. sig is constantly making small undocumented changes to the p320. I can think of 5 or 6 off he top of my head, there are probably many more.

    X5 Legion accuracy

The legion can be accurate, but you have to work towards it with your load.... I think it’s telling that Max Michel uses a older X5 upper on a legion lower as his match gun.....

i dont think the firing pin spring would effect the lockup
