  1. Bell It just enough for you to easily set the bullet in the case without falling over. That method has always served me well. I do want to try some lube on my 9mm cases. I’ve always thought that was stupid but I keep hearing of more people doing it.
  2. The springer precision +0 .250 pads are great! And cheap. They really help get that magazine out of the gun.
  3. anyone use ghost mag pouches with the single stack insert? I don't want to spend $300 for a whole new belt set up. I already have the ghost pouches on my production rig (Bullets out) figured i could add a spacer and change out my holster and half the hanger and be ready to rock and roll.
  4. I use 231 for my major load. Not exactly your recipe but 5.0gr under a 230 jacketed RN 1.250

    Trigger Pin

I replaced mine with the floating pin before I even fired a shot with the gun. The TRS from CGW dropped .5lb off my trigger pull
  6. Not sure how that’s fuzzy math. I’m comparing my used PM9 I bought for $1250 that was ready to roll with getting an RO set up. Never seen a Range Officer with a FO sight from the factory.
  7. Go with the PM9. It's leaps and bounds better than a RO or a Colt competition(I've owned both) I picked up a used PM9 with magwell, grips, and 6 mags for $1250 shipped. The fact that it already has front strap checkering is the main kicker. Range officer(used)-$650 6 magazines-$200 Grips-$50 Magwell-$100 Fiber optic front sight-$40 Front strap checkering-$250 Total-$1290........and you still have a gun full of MIM parts.
  8. I've always used Wilson ETM's. I find them used for about 15-20 bucks all the time. I just bought 6 of them brand new in the pack for $100 last week from a local classifieds page.
  9. I have used them interchangeably. Have seen better accuracy with .357 in some 9mm Guns.
  10. I feel like I can weigh in on this now that I bought a PM9. The DW is a much nicer and more refined pistol. The average guy that’s shoots twice a year might not get it but if you have enough experience with 1911’s, there is a night and day difference. All bar stock parts is a big deal plus the fit and finish is just top notch. Dang accurate too. 1 ragged hole at 12 yards this morning. My Range Officer could never do that. I haven’t done anything to My DW besides a Magwell and grips.
  11. mine shoots lights out straight out of the box. I’m not sure how it could be much better with me behind the trigger. Someone else could maybe do better. What bullets are you shooting? You could maybe go up .001” and it could really help.
  12. I keep a TRS, hammer, firing pin and recoil spring, firing pin, slide stop and a kit to change fiber optic rods. Also keep a couple extra mags in the Bag.
  13. Get some lappinng compound and put t in the cone and cup area and work the action by hand a hundred times. If that makes sense? That’s what helped mine
  14. Lee Turret on far left, Dillon 650 in the middle and my single stage on the far right.
  15. Different color fingernail polish works great. Use the same colors for all different types of pistols and just have a master card that states which color = what poundage. Dollar store has cheap fingernail polish for all the unmarried shooters.
  16. I have 2 STI slides and neither look like that
  17. it was either the comp-tac or the blade-tech. Both holsters had that option
  18. I tried google and the search function here but I'm an idiot. I need to order a single stack belt set up and when I went to order the holster, there was a 5" 1911 option and then an option for 5" Trojan. Can I not get a holster that will fit both my Springfield Loaded and my STI Trojan? Both have no rails. I don't want to have to buy a separate holster for my backup gun. thanks in advance. This will be for USPSA if that matters
  19. I was getting just under 2lb trigger with my FSS kit.
  20. I used 222 or 242 loctite on most of my gun stuff. At work, we use 272 which is a high heat high strength. The real deal. Might try that?
