  1. funny starting bid is what retail is. I think I'll wait.
  2. I will check as I just took for granted it stayed 6" and let everyone know.
  3. 9mm ti comp 6" barrel weighs 9.2 oz. Slide after cuts to lighten weighs 11.9 oz and I did not weigh it before the cuts.
  4. I forgot to mention that the comp is titanium to lessen the weight at the end of the barrel as to not make the pistol to top heavy at the end of the barrel.
  5. Canyon Creek Custom completed this work for me over the winter. Limited 9mm can be shot open or limited by just changing the barrel. Just received the pistol and have not had time to take to the range, EGW and Henning internals and 2.5lb trigger.

    New gun

I would take this over a 929 as it looks like a six shot and major would not be a problem.
  7. With the change in my life and not shooting as much as I used to or would like to. It comes time to say farewell to some firearms that I would have loved to keep and shoot. No I didn't feel bad for the price I sold them for as the buyer had a choice to buy them or not. Just like when I offered them here on the forum and nobody choose to buy them. The buyer is not a Benos member but I did mention the forum to him. He also bought my DMW 627 and if you think these prices were high check out the 627 UDR going for $4200 and one sold last week for $5300. Best I can say is don't lose your job that you worked so hard to get to the top and it took 29 years and then it is gone in 10 minutes by someone who has only been in the utility business for 8 yrs and background is in journalism. Starting over at 57 is hard to do and I am back out in the field again as I was 29 yrs ago. But at least I have a job so life is good.
  8. Remember last year 8 shot minor was not an option and now that it is a lot could change on stages between the SSC and the Revolver Nationals. Time will tell and those who stay late after Saturday's Single Stack is completed will know for sure if they stay long enough to see the changes or if we are given a course of fire book at check in. This is as exciting as Christmas as nobody knows until we are there and it is set up. Like Forest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get"
  9. You could buy two 929's when they come out. LOL
  10. On GB a 627 38 Super is at $2025.00 with 5 days of bidding left. Man I wish I had bought one of those but I was to busy buying a 6 1/2" 627 and a 6 1/2" 27. If I bought one it would sure be gone for $2000. :-) :-)
  11. Quick trip to a machine shop and have posts turned down. Or attach to a drill press and use different degrees of sand paper to reduce size.
  12. Did you win a plaque or trophy? LOL
  13. Almost like a Snipers motto. 1 shot 5 plates. :-)
  14. My S&W 500 with a 385 gr bullet at 1900 fps = 731 PF. I don't know if there is even a word for it. Maybe crazy class.
  15. 6 shot neutral does not mean 6, 6, 6, 6 it means a course of fire that can be completed in the same amount of reloads. You can have a 16 round course and if set up properly it will take 3 reloads with both 8 shot and 6 shot. Example would be 7, 4 and 5 would force 3 reloads with an 8 and can be shot with a 6 with 3 reloads.
  16. I think they should change COF rules to where you can shoot the whole course if you choose from one position. That way the chance of hurting yourself by carrying 4 mags and 1 in the gun and each mag holds 21 to 28 rounds and the COF is only 16. It would also be easier to pick up the brass as it would pile in one place. Oh the possibilitys :goof:
  17. Do they just need reamed? I am sure someone on this forum could point you in the right direction and get it done.
