  1. You can use the bottom of your calipers to check the depth. I try to go five thousands below flush.
  2. Makes sense, sweet pistol!
  3. Did you go with four holes for the potential of a frame mounted optic? Or just for more adjustments to the *thumb rest [generic]*?
  4. It is very odd that this combo would not work. The 11.5 with CCI and WIN has been great for me. Do you have a another 11.5 or extended firing pin spring to try out? Could be an off weight spring.
  5. I bought 2k from Midsouth and it is great, no issues here.
  6. New blues are very nice now. The only issue I had with acme was the weight. I ordered 135s but received 131-137, something I don't want to chance with at chrono at a major match.
  7. OK Corral in Okeechobee has an awesome shotgun course. I have only shot USPSA/Steel Challenge there, but it looks fun. Welcome!
  8. The only thing stopping me from getting a parrot is the lack of extra barrel, compared to a normal Czechmate. Not sure why they package them differently.
  9. Take your slide off and insert the mag, you will see where the follower hangs up on the slide lock pin. Just remove some material from the follower so they will drop free. I had to do this when using a Nitro Fin on my TS.40. This is with the CZCustom spring and followers, no need to bend the spring.
  10. All the rounds I've run through my hundo have loaded and fired perfectly. If it is a little looser than other gauges, it can't be by much. Definitely one of the better purchases you can make in your shooting career.
  11. I'm a 135 fan, I find it to be a nice middle ground of snap and push while shooting Carry Optics. I might check out Alliant Sport Pistol to reduce the smoke I have with Titegroup though.
  12. Oh wow didn't see that. I'll be going for that pack next time. Thanks!
  13. https://ballistictools.com/store/dillon-die-lock-ring-pack-of-9 I've bought a few packs of these from them, work great! I like being able to use one wrench for all my dies now.
  14. That happened to me once, I had a batch of 9mm in my frankford wet tumble and forgot to take them out after the spin cycle. They had this green sticky film on them and it was a struggle to get them cleanish to even run through the press. So now I set an alarm on my phone so I don't have to go through that again.
  15. 2.5 for me. If it is not a night I load on, I will go in and clean it up from time to time. When I load that is all I focus on and close up shop right away. It is easier for me to walk away since it is in a shed and not a room in the house.
  16. I'm hoping that Mark 7 will have one at Area 6 Championship next week, so I can make a decision easier.
  17. Everglades Ammo is down there, Mark 7 Reloading as well. Generally quite a bit of the larger matches in florida are hosted on matchsignup.org only a few are on practiscore. I reload in a wood shed, but keep all my components inside the house. Gun Craft Inc (Ruskin) Hansen Range & Gun Club (Punta Gorda), they host the custom gun classic around November. Wyoming Antelope Club (Clearwater), they host the factory gun classic the first weekend of December. Shoot GTR (Gainesville) Volusia Gun & Hunt Club (Volusia) Universal Shooting Academy (Frostproof) OK Corral (Okeechobee) Area 6 Championship will be there in two weeks. I'm sure there are many others, but off the top of my head these are some of the more popular facilities.
  18. I'm using N320 for both 9mm and .40S&W. Precision Delta for my .40 180gr JHP, and Zero bullets for my 9mm 147gr JHP. If I were to go the coated route again I would use SNS Casting. SNS is super slick and I've never had any sizing/weight issues with them. It took a little tinkering around to figure out what I liked, but N320 is a great powder for metering and soft shooting.
  19. I shot a 9mm PSA today with the Taccom 3-stage buffer and a hiperfire 24c, this setup was just as soft as a JP GMR-15. I'm highly impressed with how great the 3-stage buffer works. It was easy to group my shots well. I think this is the route I will be going to build my PCC.
  20. No issues, they have been working great. I believe the 13 coil is for a 170mm mag for Open.
  21. I prefer the Innovation Scales 2.0. I like the texture of the scales and how they make the grip wider.
  22. If I have a round sticking up out of the shockbottle, it's usually cause of a brass booger on the rim cause by a bad extractor. I file those out and they fit back in.
  23. Next time you are at a match ask a competitor if you can see their sight at the safe table, that's how I got around to getting a cmore for .22 and dpp for carry optics.
