  1. I see you are shooting here on the 20th. I would be interested in taking a peek at your SRO if you will be using it.
  2. If it doesn't have a buttstock it isn't a PCC, it is a PCP.
  3. I've tested this a bunch. I had my PCC sitting on my treadmill so I could see the dot from my couch. After I saw it turn off I got up to go smack the gun to watch it turn on, but as soon as I put my palm on the treadmill it turned on. All 6 of the various Holosun sights I have are this sensitive.
  4. Fill that area in with some Permatex Ultra Black?
  5. I've tried it in two different 9major open guns and just a few tenths of a grain over major I was blowing primers regularly. A load of 6.8 with a 124 made major, and at 7.0 I was blowing probably half of my primers. At 7.2 I was blowing every single primer and severely expanding the case head. None of the brass at or above 7.0 was reusable. That is too close to the ragged edge of safe for me.
  6. Jagemann is/was a reputable company. I would say ditch the Autocomp. I have ruined more 9mm brass using Autocomp than any other powder.
  7. Red. I only have one green dot and I don't like it.
  8. The older designs only allow different reticles in manual mode, like my 515, 503 and 502's, but my 507's and 510's allow all reticle in either auto or manual modes.
  9. It isn't so much battery vs solar as it is auto adjust vs manual adjust. The sight is completely capable of running in all modes without a battery installed as long as it has received enough sunlight to charge the internal supetcapacitors. Not all Holosun models support running in all modes without internal power, however. Not all can run dot only in auto mode.
  10. I have no idea what Aimpoint mount this is supposed to be, but it sure isn't for the T1 so it wont fit the mount I have for my open Glock. I am however impressed with how clear the optic is and how bright the dot is.
  11. If you are crimping to .358" you are overcrimping by .018" to .020" which would allow the case itself to enter the freebore of the barrel.
  12. .358 may be too large to fit in the freebore of your barrel at any normal OAL. You may have to load extra short with such a fat bullet.
  13. I own about a dozen Holosun sights from many of their product ranges and I love each and every one of them.
  14. I use a very thin grease called Lubriplate SFL-0.
  15. I've never used an Aimpoint, but I have never considered any of my Holosun red dots (I have about a dozen) to be dim by any means. They are by far the brightest red dots I have or have used. I often have to manually dim them, even in broad daylight.
  16. All 3 of mine are intensely bright. Are you sure you have a battery in it? They don't ship installed, but the sight will run on its internal capacitors.
  17. I just ordered one. I have an Aimpoint compatible mount for my open Glock, so I will see how I like it on there compared to the RTS2.
  18. I saw that Jessie Harrison is using one. They look pretty big, not quite 510C big, but big.
  19. I like a 124gr with fast powder. Not as soft in the hand as a 147, but I am back on target quicker. My CO gun is a CZ P10C with a Holosun HS507C, and my load is 3.8gr of Titegroup under an RMR 124gr FP FMJ "Match Winner" at 1.100" Shooting the classifier "Roscoe Rattle (13-04)" firing 6 rounds per target, the dot did not leave the window.
  20. I have been having similar thoughts.
  21. I used one with my RMR. I recommend them.
  22. I have experienced the brass "hairs" when I overbelled the case and my bullet seating die clipped the edge of the flare.
