It depends on what type of competing you want to do. If there's a chance you'd like to shoot IDPA and USPSA get am SP01 tactical and cajun it. If you won't shoot IDPA then get a S2 and do the springs alone and it will be great.
  2. Brain trust what do you make of this. My buddy was shooting his SP01 tac with a milled slide by CGW and a DPP. At the end of the stage after the last shot the slide release fell to the ground and the slide moved half way down the slide. The slide stop was not broken or unusual in any way. The recoil spring and guide rod were assembled on the barrel and slide and there was a live round in the chamber. We disassembled the gun at the safe table and everything looked normal. Once it was put back together it shot 2-3 more stages without any issue. I've never seen anything like that before. Any thoughts how that could occur? The slide stop was snug in the gun once it was assembled again too.

  4. Looking at the uspsa magazine. I see 41 percent of shooters ran minor, whereas 31 shot .40 and 26 percent shot .45. Still more major than minor but interesting. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Could be g code. I bought some for about 10 bucks. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  7. My mistake I was thinking of the wrong holster now that I see an 014. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. You're aware I assume that an sp01 has a full dust cover whereas the 75b does not so of course it won't fit. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. Technically it takes 75b magazines and a pre b 75 magazine will not work as far as I know. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. You stole that one. I paid 900 with some extras and I thought I did great. You are right though it's too heavy for idpa and nobody has been able to get it under 43 ounces to shoot. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. I put a fusion k trigger in mine. It's great. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. I wish it were. I'd have them on both my shadows. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. It is a factory part but from a non ssp legal gun so unfortunately it's a no go. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    P320 X5 Thread

No way Jose. No external mods permitted in ssp. Ok in esp. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah but good luck. Every time I buy 3 feet about 2 feet is too big for my sights. Qc sucks but still a fair deal. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Thin safety

Cheaper and easier to put in high tension safety springs. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Legal for IDPA?

My pal's Sp01 shadow weighed 43.0 at a match this weekend. He has thick lok grips Springer pad and ss guide rod. They're close. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. That's what I was thinking. The rep said street price was likely to be 1800. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. I saw one in person yesterday. I think they're smoking crack if they think people will spend almost 2x what you can get a pm9 for, but what do I know? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. My experience has been limited to a few times guys having problems with them breaking at matches. Extractors etc.. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. I have a trojan 9 and my pal has a pm 9. Get a pm 9. The sti is great and functions perfectly. The pm 9 is just one notch up. The finish on the sti comes off quickly if that bothers you. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Legal for IDPA?

Only an sp01 shadow can make weight for idpa due to the 43 oz limit. It can be shot in ssp or esp. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. I use a curved trigger in mine. The gig trigger will fit too curved or straight. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  25. Most guns do in my experience. I think people get surprised when they do it because they don't have it happen at the range. Then when they do it on the clock and rush they really bang in the mags and boom it auto closes.
