It depends on what type of competing you want to do. If there's a chance you'd like to shoot IDPA and USPSA get am SP01 tactical and cajun it. If you won't shoot IDPA then get a S2 and do the springs alone and it will be great.

Brain trust what do you make of this. My buddy was shooting his SP01 tac with a milled slide by CGW and a DPP. At the end of the stage after the last shot the slide release fell to the ground and the slide moved half way down the slide. The slide stop was not broken or unusual in any way. The recoil spring and guide rod were assembled on the barrel and slide and there was a live round in the chamber. We disassembled the gun at the safe table and everything looked normal. Once it was put back together it shot 2-3 more stages without any issue. I've never seen anything like that before. Any thoughts how that could occur? The slide stop was snug in the gun once it was assembled again too.

I have a trojan 9 and my pal has a pm 9. Get a pm 9. The sti is great and functions perfectly. The pm 9 is just one notch up. The finish on the sti comes off quickly if that bothers you. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Most guns do in my experience. I think people get surprised when they do it because they don't have it happen at the range. Then when they do it on the clock and rush they really bang in the mags and boom it auto closes.
