Earlier in the thread there was mention of having the option for minor to shoot with 10 round mags if the stages were favorable to the higher round mags.

I have some beat up black aluminum springer base pads. I believe they were powder coated. Just for cosmetic purposes I'm thinking about painting them. I read good things about epoxy appliance paint, or possibly considering Plasti-dip spray coating. The latter might give a nice gripping surface. Anyone tried this? I think stripping them to natural is perfect but that's a bitch I think with the powder coat.

I recently waded into this with a TRP .45 for SS major to complement my 9mm Trojan. I might be the minority but I also shoot IDPA and wanted a CDP gun so I can be mediocre in another division there and since CDP has to be .45 (I guess Wilson doesn't make .40 cal 1911s) I went with .45.

I'm not sure what the question is. A new glock 5 failed the chrono safety test. The SO who did the check said the glock 5 has some issue that prevents it from manually being tested for the positive function of the firing pin block. He said they are safe but the 5 can't pass in the way the rules require the SO to check the safety. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
