  1. Had anyone had trouble with their sizing? I ordered some 1mm .039 in rod and its variable to over .043 in and won't fit my Dawson sights. They did order a smaller size of there's a problem but I would think 1mm should fit. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Anyone adapted cr speed versa mag pouches to the x5 magazines? Let me know how you did so please. I added rubber washers behind the stock sti insert and it works well. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. There is some issue with glock 5 passing safety. At a sanctioned match I shot last week the glock 5 was rejected at safety check because the firing pin lock could not manually function from what I understand. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Military Sig p320

I think its only a compact size offering now from sig Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. 1.3749 wide would barely fit. 1.34 fits with room to spare. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. Cz and the manual say you damage the gun engaging the safety on an uncocked hammer. I got a from a safety check officer unfamiliar with CZ operation. Make a copy of the manual to have with you at a sanctioned match. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Fyi both boxes are 6 inches high and 1.625 deep. Idpa is 8.75 wide and uspsa production is 8.938. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. Yes this is a 650. I'll check that. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. I reload 9mm with 147 gr plated over 3.4 gr of n320. Gets 890 fps usually from my guns. Last week a few round felt really weak. So i checked a few dozen rounds. This batch of ammo is all over the place. Some 700 fps even one that was 400. But most are over 860 fps. I may have bagged these cases still damp after wet tumbling them or had moisture from case lube in some. Could that account for the variation? My press has a powder lock out so I don't think I could be way off in the powder and its usually pretty close to drop weight. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. Keep the Barney mag and a phone in the pockets for more swing. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. I got a .180 and it is a tad too low. Even the .185 would be ok. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    X-Five

Mine works best with a 12 lb recoil spring and wouldn't run with the stock one. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. I thought the X5 was not part of the VU. People are sending X5s back? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  15. If it rotates oil it if it slides grease it. Same for all guns. The grease I use is a light food grade type. http://www.grantcunningham.com/2006/05/lubrication-101/ Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  16. The ranger buckle or cobra type is a difficult to adjust in a match and has to be disassembled to remove the holster etc. The regular instructor belt seems much easier. I have a five stitch but I'd spring for polymer layer option in the future. After a couple years the five stitch is not as stiff as it was.

I followed suit and bought .180" Tall x .100" . For me, cranked down all the way, the gun is now too high. My 147 grain load is about 4 inches high at 20 yards. I will make a careful test but I think something around the .205 is going to be on the money.

My gun wouldn't run with a 14lb spring on my powder puff 147 load. I had to get a 13lb spring. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Anyone find that the guns shoots quite low? I had to really crank the rear sight up. I might replace the front sight... suggestions appreciated. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  24. A vest is nicer than a shirt because if you carry your Barney mag and light in the pockets they help the swing of the fabric on the draw and reload. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
