    SP01 Tactical

Lol good one. Wait you're serious? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. I disagree that a well tuned decocker is much different than a tuned shadow. I have compared my sp01 shadow orange and cajun sp01 shadow target 2 to a pal's tactical that had a gunsmith installed cajun pro kit. There was very little difference. Identical? Maybe not but minimal unless handled back to back. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. If you're looking for one gun for idpa ssp and uspsa production a tactical is a very good choice. First you can get one for pretty cheap. Second the decocker allows you to shoot from the half cock for a better first pull. The difference between a polished and cajuned shadow and a tactical is very narrow. 5. That is a 75 shadow (tac ii I'm reminded). It's a nice gun. It has a a cz custom competition hammer. That looks like a Springer base. It's a good choice for idpa or uspsa. It's lighter than an sp01 bc it had no full length dust cover, and much lighter than a shadow 2. I'd look seriously at that gun for 900 or so. Oddly shadow 2s can be had for less than sp01 shadows which were more expensive from cz custom. Once in a while you see a non custom sp01 that was not customized, those are usually 800 to 900 because they were not upgraded yet. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. The weight is often wildly inaccurate in 1911s especially when they list the 45 as having the same weight as the 9. With a rail I bet its overweight out of the box. They make the same gun without a rail which is what Id get or just the regular range officer which has a single sided safety for a bit less weight. Even then it might be tight but going to a GI rod and plug can cut a little weight too.
  7. Cco means officer frame with commander slide. Some are steel frames. What didn't you like about the range officer compact? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. Bluemooncricket what does your gun weigh? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. Im interested in a range officer compact. I shoot a 130 pf reload and need to know how one can reduce the weight of the recoil spring since it has the captured spring system. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. Great. I wish that the RO compact was available with a steel frame. Did you have any width or height issues? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. I am thinking of getting a 9mm cco for ccp this year. Not interested in comments related to other gun options. Specifically I'd like to hear if anyone has set up a gun for ccp and their experiences. Weight and size seem perfect in paper. I think i can get a magwell in too. Looking at three fusion cco too, but other suggestions of interest appreciated. Pm-c? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. The grey has the same trigger as the other colors. They all vary from gun to gun quite a bit irrespective of color. As to the original question buy an Sp01 is you want to shoot SSP in IDPA. Shooting an S2 in ESP is not practical or financially feasible. Moreover even in ESP I think the S2 magazine release would not be legal.
  13. My friends shadow 2 was doubling and a bit of backing out the trigger screw stopped it. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. It seems that prima v is discontinued. Is there a comparable new powder in the vectran line? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. I bet you were doing well in SSP with a PM9 since it's an ESP gun! I have seen Sig 938 in a bug match, and I know the EMP 4 will work well in CCP.
  16. Theres not alot of them around. I'd look for a STI Trojan or a Sig Traditional and spend a few bucks on a new ignition kit.
  17. The mbt2s works fine with this upper. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. I bought the fm heavy buffer and per their recommendation a 308 carbine spring. I bought that larue trigger based on a friend having luck with it on an fm9 upper and bolt. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. I am building an SBR for PCC and want your thoughts. I am committed to a Colt adapter in an Aeroprecision lower BC that's what is approved by ATF so Glock advocates need not chime in on that point. FM-9 8.5 inch upper Larue MBT2 flat faced trigger Bad Ass LW ambi safety Aeroprecision LPK Larue grip Ace ultra LW stock KNS Pins KAK adapter Thought much appreciated.
  20. Productive comment. Why?
  21. I am told that if the set screw slips it can cause the gun to go auto for multiple rounds, or engage the safety preventing firing. True they are loctited in place but guns get hot perhaps enough to loosen up the loctite. I'd rather just fit the gun or pay to have it done if I was not confident. These aren't 450 dollar glocks, I can't imagine going cheap here. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. And that's all well and good until it slips and starts to double. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  23. I don't like it. I have two s2, both with 11.5 hs. The short reach kit has a worse trigger pull. I believe this is due to the reduced leverage of the shorter pull. I'd rather reduce the size of the grip if reach is a concern. I also think the adjustable sear is nonsense. I feel just springs and extended fp is the easy to go on an s2. 24. Cote metgars for 20 bucks springer precision pads for 16 each
  25. I've had a great set of Rudy Noyz that I got on a closeout. They have several lenses, and I generally use the black light sensitive set. I have noticed that when they darken they leave an annoying lighter section in the middle of one of the lenses. Other times when they darken they do so evenly. Has anyone else seen this and addressed it?
