  1. I would get all the parts you want(new trigger/hammer/sear/safety), box them up and send it to Gans. He built my last 2 guns and I have been very happy with his service. He has a crazy fast turnaround. also shoot with a few others who have his guns with great success. Dawson big hands works well. If you go to a evo grip, I would recommend the limcat v2 magwell.
  2. Removed just over .5oz on my 1911.
  3. In have tried hs6 a couple times and keep going back to WAC. Flatter, less dot noise and much tighter groups during bill drill. Will try aa7.
  4. I started with one foot in and one foot on the box. =In the box.
  5. I have 2 of the taccom and wouldn't change. I run a 1" strip of grip tape along the bottom.
  6. I only had to fit the area circled on both both of mine.
  7. WAC can vary slightly lot to lot. Usually ~0.1gr back and forth.
  8. I agree with Jack. I tried hs6 with 115's and had no signs if high pressure/flattened primers. Try 1.165" and plunk em'.
  9. I agree. I didn't feel like arguing/fighting it and let it go on the specific stage I am sure you are talking about. The RO was incorrect.
  10. All my MBX used to hit the ramp. File them down and you are good to go.
  11. The racer cut gogun does not work for me as it is too vertical. However, I got the extreme and it has a much better angle(approx 45'). I still changed the angle a little.
  12. I am very happy with mine. Had a cheely before and it is softer and flatter.
  13. A full length guide rod is 1.5oz and a tungsten is 3oz. It will put you over.
  14. Should be easy with epoxy/acraglass gel. but I would assume it will no longer fit your holster without mods.
  15. 10oz is a huge difference in an open gun. Example, a steel guide rod is 1.5oz and a tungsten is 3oz. Decent difference on how the gun feels/handles and that is only 1.5oz. Maybe some can't tell the difference as some also can't tell the difference shooting a 115 vs 124. Nothing wrong with that, just some can tell the slightest differences and some can't. But 10oz is big.
