  1. I'm pretty sure my 1911 holster is a simple single layer blade tech. I have a RHT for my 2011 and it is really nice - a definite step up in rigidity and quality, but I don't feel like I need it for the lighter weight of the 1911.
  2. My Titan has been reliable and accurate since I got it last year. Probably 20k+ rounds through it now without a hitch.
  3. Both of my STI Trojan 9mm guns have been incredibly accurate - much more accurate than I am able to shoot them. Probably my favorite guns to shoot if I am being honest.
  4. I had carpal and cubital tunnel surgery on my left side last January and was back shooting (single stack minor) at our March match. By June I was back to shooting my 40 cal limited gun with no problems. I just scheduled my surgery for my right side (carpal only) for the end of this December and hope to be recoved in time for shooting again in March. I don't see why I wouldn't be, but this is my dominant hand so I'm not sure.
  5. Just switched from Red fiber to green - not sure yet if I can tell a difference although I have had several people telling me that I had to try the green because it was so much better.
  6. Things like this are a pet peeve of mine. I try to make all of our stages: 1. LEGAL 2. FUN 3. EFFICIENT Small problems like this or shoot through problems that cause REF reshoots drive me nuts.
  7. I have been using a red fiber, but just bought some green to try on the recommendation of a friend.
  8. I am still shooting with both eyes open and still think it is the way to go. There are a few instances where I have to close one eye (a very narrow port where there was a lot of "visual noise" but other than that I find it to be the best way.
  9. I'd love to start my matches at 8:00 AM but I'd have to get there at 5:00 AM to set up. You DO help set up right?
  10. Shooters Connection has been shipping them for a while now.
  11. Any 147 gr coated bullet 3.0 gr Titegroup 1.15 OAL S&B Primers Any mixed brass you can find That is the best load data I have found and what I use for my 9mm Trojans.
  12. We were getting them for ~ $20/1000 including tax, shipping, and hazmat if we caught a good sale. I'd hate to pay $30 for something I could get for $20
  13. I just came here to post the same thing. A friend and I have been using them for the past several years with very good results. We ordered 40,000 SPP together and I just got an email that the order was cancelled with no explanation. I called and emailed to complain, but they claim that they are no longer carrying them and that they won't be available. Very disappointing.
  14. I've had my Atlas Titan for almost a year now. 10,000 + trouble free rounds so far - It just runs and runs and runs.
  15. STI Trojan - CRP Package from Dawson Precision would be my choice. (Actually it was my choice twice already)
  16. I like my STI Trojans - very reliable and consistent. I wouldn't mind a Dan Wesson PM9 either, I think they might be a little nicer, but functionally I think they are very similar.
  17. I understand the concept but it doesn't make sense. 114 points = GM no matter what division you are shooting. Do any of the other classifiers work like that (besides other fixed time classifiers)?
  18. I know that the HHF is set by the maximum number of points, but has anyone actually shot all the points? Should the HHF be lowered? Right now Revolver, PCC, Single Stack, Open, Limited, Production, Carry Optics, and Limited 10 all have the same hit factors. Doesn't see right? I was going to use this for our match tomorrow but I pulled it and used a different one.
  19. WSPS season starts off this weekend with a 6 stage match consisting of 4 classifiers and 2 field courses. We are located near Harrisburg, PA. Stages can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uEt3FnU9SlNA-RB9GoA_iWnWVHmvTlT4/view?usp=sharing Information can be found here: https://practiscore.com/wsps-march-2018-uspsa-match/register
  20. Mine came with a Dawson toolless guide rod. I have about 5500 rounds through mine and it has run perfectly as well. I am using 5.5 gr CFE Pistol with 180 gr Ibejiheads coated bullet @1.18 OAL and a S&B SPP.
  21. My TITAN fit right into my Red Hill Tactical STI EDGE holster. Great holster - very stiff with smooth draw.
  22. OK, so I actually bought one of these and took it out to the range. This gun is bone stock - all I did was take it out of the box, take it apart, clean it, oil it, and reverse the mag release (I want to try a right side release).I shot about 300 rounds last night - all of which were my reloads - 147 gr Ibejihead Coated Bullet, 3.0 gr Titegroup, S&B SPP, at about 1.14 OAL.The gun ran perfectly - not one problem. I didn't get a chance to chrono those rounds as it was raining outside, but they fell very pleasant - not snappy or anything. Very similar to the feel out of my 9mm 1911 actually (which they make about 130 PF out of).I don't think I am going to mess with the spring or the guide rod just yet. I shot some at 10-15 yards at a fast double tap pace and had 19/20 in the A zone of a USPSA target. As I moved further back I was shooting everything off to the left which is normal for me - almost every pistol I won has the sights drifter over so that wasn't a surprise to me.Overall I am very impressed with the gun - the trigger has a very long take up, but when it gets to the break it is pretty clean and smooth. If someone was looking for a gun to get started in IDPA or USPSA they could do a lot worse than this. And at the price I paid ~$460.00 I really don't think you can beat it.

  24. Just ordered a Canik TP9SFX to shoot in production next year. Am I understanding this correctly that I can use the aftermarket guide rod that is in my G4 G34 with a 1911 spring to tune this gun for my reloads? How do they like 147gr coated bullets?
  25. I don't feel that USPSA offers enough value without the classification system for me to want to continue running "USPSA" matches if I had to send them $3.00 per shooter.
