  1. Does anyone know if I can safely and within the rules shoot the match with only two people. One of my team mates was in a bad car accident and we are down to two. I hate to get to Va and be told we cant play. I do see in one stage we are all shooting at the same time. I was thinking I could ground a safe gun in one box start in another and ground my weapon there and run to the open box. Thanks
  2. I just want to make sure I have this right. I have a glock 17 which came with a fixed rear sight so I can't replace it with the Dawson adjustable even if it uses the same cut. But on my 35 which came with an adjustable sight I can.
  3. What is the best barrel length for a 3 gun rifle (ar15 5.56) Assume stages include all types of barricades, and targets from 5-400yds.
  4. Good choice on replacing the stock. The tactical comes with a hogue stock that will flex. Manners makes a good stock. The manners chassis is not adaptable to the McMillan as far as I know.
  5. I have an opportunity to buy a new Colt Gold Cup at a good price. The gun will be used for bullseye, Idpa, recreational shooting. Which should I get stainless, or blued?
  6. Any thoughts on using a STI Trojan 9mm in metallic.
  7. What kind of accuracy can I expect from a stock STI Trojan 9mm at 50yds
  8. Which trigger would you suggest for a gen 4 model 17 Glockworx, Vanek,...? The gun will be used for 3 gun, idpa. Thanks
  9. I put a target in front of my chrono to stop the powder from making it to the sensor before the bullet.
  10. Stag is a great company to deal with. They support the shooting sports, and are always friendly.
  11. Gummy bears, sandwiches, shooting you need to move to Connecticut
  12. I was just there last week. I stayed at the Marriot beachside resort. A Beautiful hotel. Its a couple of miles from Old Town (Duval St)but they have a shuttle. I would stay there again. Places to go: Two Friends restaurant on Front St. for diner, Kelly's on Whitehead for happy hour, Pepe's, and Blue heaven for breakfast, Schooner Wharf bar. Once on Duval St. you can get to all of the points of interest without a problem. The island is only 4mix1 1/2mi. For entertainment I enjoyed Kevins Irish bar try to get there when NY Paulie is performing, right next to them is Sloppy Joes. Don't forget sunsets and street performers at Mallory square, and photo ops at the farthest point south. The best thing to do is just go exploring there is a lot to do from bar hopping to fishing, snorkeling, golf.
