  1. It seems to me that I had this same discussion on a Facebook group and I said that the shooter should be DQ'd and I had a dozen people telling me they shouldn't be. Also - PCC is not a good fit for a pistol match.
  2. I'd encourage you to look into the Akai guns as well. They really seem to have open guns figured out. Their shooters consistently finish at the top of open division in National, Area, and Sectional matches.
  3. As I mentioned earlier in the thread I had my left side done last year. I just had my right carpal tunnel release the day after Christmas 2018. I shot for the first time last weekend - 20 rounds out of a Glock 17. So about one month since surgery. It wasn't terrible, but I'm going to give it another month before I shoot again. I went back to work three days after the surgery (accounting), but the shock of the recoil did not feel great. My left side healed well and I have no more symptoms. I had it done in January and was back shooting all last year starting in March.
  4. I'd prefer to have a paper rulebook. I don't feel like it is my job as a shooter, a CRO, or as a match director to provide something that USPSA should be providing as part of our membership dues.
  5. Comp Tac or Blade Tech are perfectly fine if paired with the BOSS hanger. I've used them both and they both work great.
  6. I am thinking about getting a Gen 5 G17 to shoot production next year. I have a Gen 3 RTF G17 that I like a lot but I think that some of the improvements that they have made to the Gen 5 would be a worthwhile upgrade.
  7. As far as I know it's just an efficiency thing. Sometimes you have to do the best you can to get the match on the ground.
  8. I enjoy shooting single stack. That being said, I definitely enjoy shooting single stack minor more than I do single stack major.
  9. I got the GPS OUTDOOR LARGE RANGE BACKPACK and it is real good for me. https://op1.0ps.us/210-185-ffffff/opplanet-g-outdoors-products-tall-tactical-range-backpack-tan-75-pp-gps-t1913bpt-main-1
  10. I been using the DAA ones. Works good for me.
  11. We have a match in our area (Mid-Atlantic, Area 8 ) that uses caution tape for faultlines. It makes setup and teardown easier and allows them to get their match setup the morning of while still putting up some pretty large stages.
  12. This is really devious - I'll be using this at our matches next year for sure!
  13. LimCat real cool looking I like it a lot but think WILCAT SIGHT TRACK would be better fit for me. (not sure if that is right name?)
  14. We got the same number of posts! Well, we did before I post this.
  15. I have the STI Trojan in 9mm and use Dawson mags in it. Great combination - I think it's a shame that STI isn't making the Trojan anymore. If I had to choose from what is available today I would probably go with the Dan Wesson PM9.
  16. I usually push down on the gun when I pick it up for a loaded table start and then the magazine falls out! LOL! Blew the same classifier two years in a row doing that. :(
  17. Atlas TITAN is much better. I think the sightblock thing is ugly and is just a dumb gimmick. The sight tracker guns look really cool to me but the sight block not so much.
  18. West Shore Practical Shooters - Near Harrisburg, PA. Matches the third Saturday from March - November. https://www.facebook.com/WestShorePracticalShooters/
  19. Can't comment on the new DVC, but I have been loading 40 for a while. 180 gr coated bullet 5.5 Gr. CFE Pistol 1.18 OAL Makes around 170 PF out of my STI Edge and my Atlas Trojan
  20. My Atlas Titan has been boringly reliable over 30k rounds and very accurate. I don't think it's making me a better shooter over my old STI Edge tho. I would like to see what an Edge feels like with a PT grip tho. I think that would be an interesting comparison.
  21. Also - Dawson 9mm 1911 magazines have been the best option for me and for several others that I know.
  22. I think it's worth it. The difference between a Hyundai and a Mercedes-Benz.

    best semi

I had the chance to shoot a round with a Beretta A400 XCEL MULTITARGET the other day and was VERY impressed. I'd sell my Citori O/U in a minute to get one of those.
