  1. Galvanic corrosion is a horrible thing. Too many engineers and techs know nothing about it.
  2. Super glues handle tensile stress (pulling directly away from the joint) fairly well, it does not handle shear stress (side impact) very well. For temparary use electrical tape works pretty well. If you want some thing more permanent I would try what Chevyoneton suggested.
  3. Glad to hear you are better. I hate ER trips also (the last one for me was a crushed finger...)
  4. Nickel cracks faster, if you don't lose it first. Many people when the power factor was 175 prefered nickel as the thought was that it was stronger. I like the look of nickel, however I do not think there is any real difference in strenght (they are both +P rated). Nickel normally costs more also...
  5. We also love green chili, as in the dish. (Traditional is pork, chicken and beef taste really good too though.) Will have to try your recipe Brian.

    Cold!

Hasn't been above freezing here in the mornings in over a month. (I live at about 6800 ft though.)
  7. I am not sure that would last through a course of fire. Could you get or make a mount that would use longer screws on the C-more mount?
  8. Can you use the #5 for 9 also? Yes, this is the one for 9mm. (9mm doesn't fit in my #3 shell plate.)
  9. Decontaminating more than cleaning. Just have to get the bits of grit out of there as they bind the follower or cartridges. A single pass with a brush. That is for 2011's though. For everyone else, just load and shoot! It's only the expensive guns that won't run a dropped mag!! Paras too... Maybe some others.
  10. Personally I understand coaching at a local match, at a Major not so much. How about this one - Or this one -
  11. That is awesome. Congratulations Jessie.
  12. If it hits the ground I empty and clean it. As Sarge says a mag brush works just fine for matches, rags can get stuck and be a pain.
  13. Congratulations, kids are fun. (As Pat says don't blink...)
  14. Possibly powder residue (from the loading process), or other dirt from the loading process. Do you put a little bit of lube on this area when loading?
  15. After since I size and de-prime in the same step. (Also I am setting up my trimmer on the same toolhead.)
  16. Put your face in the face of a dog who doesn't know you and wonder why you got bit? Dogs take that as an aggressive action...
  17. Factory lenght ammo does not run very well in my Edge.
  18. Looks great, this is mine. Did it a couple of years ago.
  19. It also appears that some of you are forgetting the other reason for shooting a classifier more than once. Getting an intial classification in another division.
  20. The #5 or 9mm/38 Super shellplate will work for Super-comp, it is not as good of a fit as the #3 shellplate. I recommend using the #3 shellplate. (The #3 shellplate will also prevent accidental loading of 38 Super brass)
  21. No, it is for pistol calibers only, a note on Dillon's site states rifle cases are too tall to feed with this system.
  22. If I figure out a way to do it I will let you know.
