  1. I'm actually done shooting open division, still have the gun. It's been fantastic.
  2. Mark built my 9 major at the end of 2018. The process to get this started was easier than I thought it was gunna be. I sent him my wish list on parts, he built the gun. The gun has been fantastic, zero issues...and it hasn't been a safe queen. I get a lot of questions about it due to people thinking it's "more name brand". I ran it side by side with a limcat and I like my Carne better.
  3. I have 10k through my 510c without the shroud on my open gun. I also went from a DPP. I have zero complaints about the optic, the weight difference is not noticeable at all. The field of view is amazing.
  4. My ghost "the one" holster worked throughout blue ridge without a problem.
  5. I went from a DPP to a 510C, Like mentioned above, dry fire. Build that muscle memory so you'll rarely ever have to look for the dot.
  6. Check it out...next time i grab an M9, M17 or M18 from the cage, I'll bring the chronograph out. This will be for the current military ammo, which is 124 grain nato "pretty much winchester white box" DODIC A363 Last i recall, it was in the ball park of 145ish PF
  7. Everglades makes some as well. https://www.evergladesammo.com/ammunition/handgun-ammunition/9mm-major-power-factor-124gr-jhp-ammo-new-50.html
  8. Have not had that issue either Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. Which one specifically did you use? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. So far the sight has not interfered with ejection Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. Holosun 510c is pretty good so far, just put it on from using a dpp. Large window, take the window shield off and it'll be lighter than a cmore aluminum body. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. This. I have traveled and flown with it. Not a single issue. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. I use a nitro fin on both my open guns. Feels better to me personally.
  14. Have several D-60s available with thousands of rounds through them and not a single issue. They are very reliable, but I do loose sleep over having to load them over and over again.
  15. I'm running the Trijicon Accupower 1-8. 1X is great on it. Have not had a single issue with it and the price point isn't bad.
  16. Sure thing Pistol: $609 HCG Package: $1000 I added a wilson combat extended safety after this picture was taken as I'm not a fan of the factory ones at all.
  17. I run a DPP and my experience shooting a stage in heavy rain. If a rain drop hits inside or in front of where the light emits from the housing. That drop can change the location of the dot thus making you lose zero temporary until that water is no longer there. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. I've been running the super ghost ultimate. I like it a lot. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. Went all out with the HCG package. Shoots great, not a single issue with Remington double stack magazines (left them factory) I've only put about 1000 rounds through it so far since my focus has been on open but I have zero complaints. The only thing I want to change out is the factory safety. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. I owned the TS and TSO. I loved them both. However, also have sold both due to me liking the 2011 better. I did the same thing the OP did. Started with the CZ, jumped to open with the 2011. It comes down to personal preference. But just remember there is also a lot more after market support for the 2011 platform than CZ.
  21. I second the nitro fin. Personally feel that my grip is more consistent with the nitro fin than a *thumb rest [generic]* on the optic mount.
  22. What are the tricks of the trade to keep the open windowed red dots (DPP/ Romeo etc) reliable during a stage while raining. I understand keeping the dot dry before hand, just curious if there are any ideas floating around? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  23. Shot there a few times, the few days they have you'll park once but everything else you'll drive to. I don't know how the match will be set up but if they are using the same areas as Task Force Dagger than you'll be looking at 70% driving 30% walking Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  24. Red Hill Tactical might be able to help you out with a holster.
  25. Here is how my Gen 1s look. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
