I know the DPP 3moa is pretty easy to pick up and doesn't wash. I've seen a lot of 6 MOA though when it comes to cmore.

non-competition shotgun question
Rader1812 replied to obsessiveshooter's topic in Shotgun - Technical
Growing up doing scholastic trap shooting as a kid, only used a 12GA. Started off with a over/under, then a 1100, then a benelli super sport. The biggest issue I had as a kid was shotgun fitment. Some parents would get the shotgun stocks fitted for their kids and that helped however can be expensive. We practiced at least 100 rounds of shells twice a week with estates 2 3/4. Shooting Winchester AA felt so nice during competition. We ended up putting a cheek pad on my stock ( on the 1100) because I was shooting so much to a unfitted stock (and my form sucked, etc) that I kept busting my cheek open. The cheek pad solved that problem and magically fitted the stock to sight alignment better for me back then. I was 5' 8'' and 116 pounds back then. -
The loading port is the biggest thing that people get excited about when I hear them talking about this gun.

Is there a specific grip tape you recommend that holds adhesive well and wont rip with a death grip?

Should have my HI Cap from Hayes Customs soon. Bought brand new, unmodified Remington double stack mags for it as per the recommendation from Ben Hayes. Will be posting a review on it once I get about 500 - 1k rounds through it. Note: This gun went from Rock Island factory directly to Hayes Custom, so no previous tinkering or shooting done prior to getting the HCG package. I'll be comparing it to the DVC 3-Gun, get trigger pull weight, etc.

I'm currently using the MK6 1-6 right now and love it. But no one has mentioned the Bushnell Tactical Elite 1-8.5 yet. Reticle looks user friendly and not too bad of a price. I'm curious if anyone knows something about that optic that I don't. I haven't personally seen one.

So comparing this to a firebird tac-12. What would be the better option?

Canted/slanted Iron sights for this rail
Rader1812 replied to PewPewPanda's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
Look at ultradyneusa.com They have a set of irons that mounts to the barrel that can either be vertical or canted. Used them at a demo booth during superstition. Very nice. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk -
Also depends on your reticle. PST will give you MOA or Mils, HD has a BDC option. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Love the feedbacks. Update: I appreciate everyone's opinion on the matter however I didn't feel necessary to disclose what I want a TSO 9mm for because that doesn't matter to my original post which was the price. I did end up picking it up, looks brand new without a scratch, even on the mag well. I have had the original TS with grip reduction and the TSO fits my hands perfect. Even the mag release. This firearm could have passed as NIB. So far I'm happy with my decision. Is a TSO just a prettier TS. In my opinion it's like a DVC vs Edge. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I found one in 45 at a gun show, gun has a good amount of weight to it. Feels comfortable in the hands. Definitely a para. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

About to drop $1400 on a factory TSO that is hardly used. What's everyone's opinion on this price. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I'd go with the S2 man has more options than a TS for 3 gun. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

That is awesome. I was think about how to do something similar and this has giving me ideas! Can't wait for a review. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I've tried both, I started with frame, went to slide. Now I'm going back to frame. Frame mount returns quicker for me and almost everyone else. But as mentioned above, slide does work.

I love using x1 power setting for CQB. I have an aimpoint comp m2 on my wife's rifle. I have the burris mtac 1x4 on my rifle which is getting swapped for a xtrii, and a mtac 4.5x14 on my other. If your optic is clear, daylight illumination becomes pointless. Im in the Marine Corps, my last duty station was 29 palms, the desert, we would tape up most of the tridium on our ACOG/RCO so the red wasnt as bright as it was distracting. Just an experience thought Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

I'm in the same boat with mine. I ran remington sluggers and had some issues with my bolt not going forward.
