  1. I have 3 pccs. JP GMR 15 ready rifle 14.5 barrel with short stroke kit and extended mag release. I have 2 ATI Milsports The only thing changed is furniture, triggers and safeties. I ramped the the barrels to get them to feed more reliably.
  2. I would recommend getting a Glock mag lower. Most of the Colt mags I see at matches the rounds go flying everywhere when the mag hits the ground on reloads. Also there are a lot more options on mags and extensions for Glocks. New Frontier/ Joe Bobs are pretty good.
  3. I've used Titgroup, Universal, CSB-1 and Autocomp in my pccs. CSB-1 is what I settled on. It is supposed to be equivalent to Universal on the burn rate chart.
  4. My first PCC was an ATI Milsport. It broke a firing pin about 6000 rounds in. When I called them they sent me a bolt because they didn't service the pin separately. So I now have an extra bolt in my range bag. I haven't had to use it yet but a couple friends have used it when they have had pins break. As far as brands I wouldn't worry about it. It would be a back up so it would only be needed for an emergency until your MBX is fixed.
  5. I ladder test loaded some SP for my PCC. 124gr and 130gr plated bullets. I was not getting very good accuracy out of it. Anyone else see that with a 14.5 barrel?
  6. I milled the bottom of the U(the edge against the bullet point) .005 deeper to help with my reloads. I have a bunch that are 1.120 and every once in a while one would hang up.
  7. A guy had some MBX mags at the last match. He let me try them out in my JP. They ran perfect but I did not like how they rattled around. I think I'm sticking with my Glock mags.
  8. 130gr Berry/Rainer RN 3.7 gr Maxium CSB-1 1.115 oal 137 pf out of 16" barrel. I got some CSB-1 during the last powder shortage out of desperation. Once I tried it I swore off Titegroup. CSB-1 is much cleaner and no smoke. I bought up all I could find. Some less than $10 a pound.
  9. That's why I change all my springs once a year.
  10. Anybody running MBX glock style steel mags in pcc? Do they run good out of the box? Are they worth the price? I'm currently running factory 31s with MBX and Goliath extension.
  11. I was going to skeletonize a upper and lower. I was using a 3d cad software and it would give you the weight based on the volume. I took the weight before and after I designed the cut outs in the receivers. The difference according to the cad software was less than 2 ounces. I did not feel that little bit of weight savings was worth the extra machine time. Plus the weakening of them could not not justify the slight weight savings.
  12. I've been using 130gr plated bullets for 38 super with great accuracy.
  13. I have cmore railways on all my pcc and the 22 I use for steel challenge. The height works great for me.
  14. I have a 22 ar set up real similar to my pcc that I use for steel challenge. Me personally I think there is a difference in using a 22 and a 9mm for training. If you reload the cost is close enough to the same.
  15. I use a Ghost almost horizontal across the front of my belt.
  16. I have 2 of Bmillers. I would recommend them.
  17. Depending on the stage I start with a 47, 40 or a 35 round mag. Then I have a 35 round on the front of my belt and a 19 next to it.
  18. I have a couple of them. They have run great.
  19. I zero at 12 yards. At 25 yards it shoots 1-1/2 inches high.
  20. I would think since they are selling serialized frames they could meet the 500 gun minimum. I sent Poly 80 an email a while back asking them to summit paper work and never heard back.
  21. I love my JP. but if your on a budget I have 2 ATI Milsports that have over 8000 rounds through each of them with only a broken firing pin in one of them.
  22. Don't see any reason to have a LRBHO in PCC. If run the gun empty you done screwed the stage up already.
  23. I was the RO on this stage (L1 match). The shooter started on the left. He shot at and missed the popper but did not realize he missed. Preformed a reload and shot the right side. Then he went back to the left side to get the popper without another reload. I ruled it ok since he did the reload. Another RO there said he should have had to do another reload since he went back. Who was correct?
  24. I have 2 of them and have used them in 3 matches. They both have ran flawless.
