  1. 1.118 to fit in my Goliath extension.
  2. When you close the top onto the lower is there pressure on the bolt from the captured spring? Can you hear or feel the spring rattle when all assembled? If you hear the spring rattle it just means the tube is a little long for your spring. Take the spring out and drop a quarter in the tube just to put a little preload on the spring. It will not affect the stroke.
  3. I was using autocomp and 115gr bullets for minor loads in my G17 with a comp. I was a little over book max when I started to get skittish. I never had signs of pressure but the more powder the less lift I was getting.
  4. I made an Ammo Mike bullet feeder last winter. Works great.
  5. I've been buying from RMR for the last couple years. Takes 2 to 3 months to get in house made bullets. I just make sure I order enough not to run out. They let you backorder in house made bullets.
  6. Any g17 slides left?

  7. Depending on barrel type, you can put a comp on it to make it louder.
  8. Not sure how much more real you can get. They loaded and test the loads then published the results for the exact combo you are using.
  9. Hey Brandon, Ben built that gun to shoot down at Sparta 2 gun. He will start up when ammo comes more available. He's not using mine anymore. He already uses to much of my 9mm.
  10. I have loaded 20k+ rounds of 9mm with CSB-1. I love the stuff. It's clean, meters well and shoots good. I use it in pistols and PCC. I've been mainly running PCC the last couple years. PM me if you want my data.
  11. If you could send me the file or post on thingivers, I would greatly appreciate it.
  12. Finally talked to my son. Anderson upper and lower. Faxton 14.5" pencil barrel with a cheap comp pined and welded.(3 side slots and 2 vertical holes) Adjustable gas block, Brownells light weight BCG. Round aluminum handguard.(Ar 15 free float handguard 15 inch TUBE | Ar15 handguard AR15 223 5.56 ) BMSMIL stock ( BMSMIL - BATTLELINK Minimalist MILSPEC Stock - Arm or Ally ) It is a light gun with light recoil. He wanted to start 2 gun matches with it but with ammo now he will have to wait.
  13. I love the case feeder on my 550 never have to take my hand off the handle.
  14. Yes I printed the bullet feeder and bought the case feeder. I bought the case feeder years ago but if I would do it again I would print a case feeder now.
  15. It depends on if there is anything closer and how bad you want to shoot. The closest range to me that allows holsters and movement is 50 minutes each way. I am there 2 or 3 times a month now. When I was the youth pistol coach I was there 6 or 7 times a month. (did that for 6 years)This is in addition to shooting matches and working 55 hours a week. The key to me being able to spend that much time was that my son and daughter shot with me most of the time. Now that they are in their late teens and early 20's they have more important things to do than shoot with dad. (my son still does when he can)
  16. I will ask him. Might be a day or so. Our work schedules are different and chasing girls are more important than dad now days.
  17. My son did a lot of research to build a light gun with light recoil. He used the Brownells BCG, an adjustable mid length gas block, light spring and buffer and a good size comp. The gun is very light with half the recoil of any of my guns. But it is loud as hell. Once adjusted it runs flawless. I don't know the exact build specs but could get them if you want them.
  18. I 3D printed one last year for mine. Works great.
  19. Sounds like the bipod would still slow you down enough to not justify the couple shots of a little stability gained. If it is dark enough to not see your targets with out a light it sounds like it is too dark for the RO to safely do their job.
  20. Titegroup is too dirty and smoky. Almost reminds me of my blackpowder days.
  21. During the Sandyhook shortage I acquired some Maxium CSB-1. It is supposed to be the same as universal. It shoots great, meters great, and is waaaaayyy cleaner than titegroup. I have loaded almost 15 pounds of it since then and am almost out but luckily a friend that bought some with me has 8 pounds left that I am picking up tomorrow. My point is don't be afraid to try something different, you may find something you like much better.
  22. If you want a laser or 45° sights just leave them on all the time. As far as a flashlight or bipod there is no damn reason to have them on in the first place for a match.
  23. I use 3D printers to prototype before machining the parts(not lowers). That would be the most economical way to do it. A Ender 3 can be bought for about $200. There is a learning curve but I was making good parts in no time. As far as machined parts you would be better off finding a shop that already makes lowers because they will already be set up for it and have the fixtures. Not to mention the 07 FFL.
  24. I built mine manly for something to do and I don't like glock grip as much. The first one I built I used mostly new parts and a slide blank that I machined. I had a lot more than a factory Glock but I have better parts than factory glock. It would have been about the same as buying a glock and adding upgrades. My second one I acquired parts over almost a year and made a few. I have less in it than a factory glock not counting optics.
