  1. The old Clint Eastwood westerns are close, but gotta go with "Fight Club."
  2. Prefer a quality Hi-Tek coated for practice. Cost effective plated bullets have not been as accurate for me as coated has been, in several pistols. I'll stick with bulk jacketed instead of going with the $$ nice plated. So, no more plated.
  3. Interested to see what is now available, aside from a full-on commercial setup.
  4. Really enjoyed the movie. No expectations going in and did not know it was a part 1 only deal. It was pretty darn good. We look forward to Part 2!
  5. OAL variance of 5 thousandths? With mixed brass?! You are doing better than most of us and being a bit too myopic. Carry on.
  6. Sure he meant 1.180-1.200" I prefer 1.180" OAL for all 2011/1911 guns.
  7. Yes, I like using the LEE U-Die for 40 for jacketed loads. Reduces number of case gauge failures in batches. Works nicely.
  8. Slug your barrel so you know what you need. Generally CZ barrels are very good quality with a bit shorter throat. Sizing preferred in mine have been larger (.357) than some other manufacturers.
  9. Yes, there is a relationship between PF and felt recoil, but it is not a direct relationship. Recoil is subjective and PF is not. A fast power with a heavier bullet can often be perceived by many of us as having lower felt recoil, even when it may have a higher PF than a lighter bullet with a different powder. All of this depends upon the shooter and the perception of said recoil though.
  10. I understand the lure of saving $$, but rewarding them for theft is not good. Screw China and their scumbag business practices.
  11. Not surprising. Sad, but not too surprising.
  12. Welcome to the forum, Dave!
  13. 124JHP, 3.9gr N320 very soft ~119PF. Consider trying some 147gr loads. 147JHP, 3.3gr IMR Target, soft & quiet ~124PF.
  14. I realize ammo is tight now, but try to run 124/125 gr loads rather than the Blazer 115gr. 147gr can be situational because of the shorter CZ throat. Check the buffer and keep it well oiled.
  15. Welcome to you, KDU! KTM fan myself.
  16. Welcome to the forum, Brian! Enjoy.
  17. Mostly good. Welcome to the forum, Kimberly!
  18. Welcome to the forum! You won't be disappointed in the TSO.
  19. All the best to you, Rich. Hoping for that miracle. Take care!
  20. Grip tape on the sides of the slide will limit holster options.
  21. Wolff conventional springs are a solid choice and they are found under the Colt heading: https://www.gunsprings.com/COLT/1911 GOV'T PISTOL/cID1/mID1/dID1
