Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I’ve read every “coated vs plated” thread on this forum and lotta people seem to favor coated. But one of the main reasons is price. But what if they were the same price? Would the coated bullets be as good, if they weren’t the cheapest? So if they were priced at the same cheap price, which one would you use? Why would you use that one over the other?
  2. Mainly the trimming of the trigger safety tab. In my opinion, that can be seen as a modification that is visible externally.
  3. When I read the rule book, my interpretation was that it was not allowed. But some other locals I’ve talked to at matches say it’s legal. The trigger is stock and all parts look stock from the outside. The trigger safety tab is trimmed some. Most wouldn’t notice but a Glock guy would see it upon closer inspection. And yes, all three safeties are fully functional and pass all the Glock armorers tests for them.
  4. Can a SSP trigger have reduced pre travel and/or over travel? Gun in question is a Glock 34, using all stock trigger parts.
  5. So, for ESP, under rule 8.2.2.2 (ESP Permitted Features and Modifications (Inclusive list)), item "K" says the following: "Aftermarket triggers and trigger work that result in the trigger being forward or rearward from the stock trigger position" But then, rule 8.2.2.3 (ESP Excluded Features and Modifications (Non-Inclusive list)), item "A" says: "Trigger shoes." Can somebody clarify this? One rule says aftermarket triggers are allowed, then a couple lines later, a rule says trigger shoes are an excluded modification. I thought a full aftermarket trigger like Zev, with a different trigger shoe, was allowed in ESP. BTW, I did try to search. EDIT: Another IDPA trigger question. Can a SSP trigger have reduced pre travel and/or over travel? From my reading of the rules, that answer is "No". Am I correct in that assumption?
  6. I'm pretty sure all the following is legal in Production and CO per rule 21.6, but just wanted to make sure. 1 - Is the Timney Glock Alpha trigger legal in production and CO? 2 - Is a modified Timney Glock Alpha trigger legal in Production and CO (like Johnny Glock's "Alpha Omega" Timney trigger, IE. a Timney trigger with reduced pre and over travel) 3 - Is a modified OEM glock trigger with reduced pre and over travel legal in production and CO?
  7. I got my last BBI order in 5 days (ordered on the 13th, received on the 18th). They are awesome.
