  1. I have a set of CGR racecut Hienies on my Glock 22. I have never sighted this thing in past 25 yards. Never thought that I would need too. Wrong. Shot a classifier this weekend where the first string was 50 yards, freestyle. I hit the target once. Out of six. My bad. Lesson learned. Joe
  2. Forum seemed a little slow recently so I throw something up. Here it is. 32 round stage shooting Production. Not all too bad but I thought I could be faster. I dropped 4 C's and 1 B. 3 reloads. Stage at 5 Dogs FWIW: I heard that Taran Butler shot this bad boy BLIND in 14 somethin. I suck. Joe
  3. Out of sheer laziness this seems to be the best option. I'm going about 1500 rounds between cleaning as is so that will be the new interval. Now if I can count that high is another story. Joe
  4. Masterblasters are good about this too. The stuff doesn't rub off. Joe
  5. I am in the same situation with primers as you are Hitman. I can't find anyone with Federeal SPP in stock for a price that I will pay except tntreloading.com. I talked to a local dealer and he told me the key is to buy a bunch to bring the prices down, so I order 25k through him. I think the price got down to 18.50 per 1k out the door. I don't think I will need primers for a while. Talk to you local guy, get some dudes together, and order a #$% ton. Joe
  6. Specifics of pistola Third Gen G22/ RS Trigger kit/ SS Guide Rod with 13 lb recoil spring/ CGR Racecut Heinie's/ Extended Controls Ammo 180 Masterblaster bullet/ 3.6gr Titegroup/ Federal SPP/ 90% Winchester Brass once or twice fired I keep finding what seems to be brass shavings in my striker channel. They are all over the spring cups, the spring, and through the channel all the way back to the backing plate. There are hardly any in the extractor channel. The gun is running 100%. Anybody got any ideas? Joe
  7. This is the way that I try to get it done. Going across the body is a pain and I'm always afraid of DQ'ing myself. Get it done and move. Joe
  8. That looked painful. Earned his paycheck atleast. Joe
  9. If that's the case then I wouldn't use TG with moly bullets. It's going to smoke. I'm running 3.6gr under a 180 shooting minor and it still smokes. Your lighting the back of the boolet on fire before it gets out of the barrel. Use WSF or another slower powder for the black bullet. Just my opinion, YMMV. Joe
  10. I have this problem too. Like you said, my thumb just won't fit down into the little crevice. So what I have been doing is snatching it up, getting the grip, and then coming forward with it. Now that I hear about the little spacer trick I'm going to the parts store to find something to make. Joe
  11. Sure. Go here to make one for yourself and never scrub lead again. Ecbc Joe
  12. This has happened to me before and then I started having two types of magazines, full and empty. No where in between, ever. As soon as I complete a course and pick up my mags they are either emptied back into my bag or filled up and put in the bag or on the belt. It helps. Joe
  13. I'll buy that for a dollar. I had a Taurus that looked strikingly familiar to that. Probably had the same 10lb trigger pull. Since it is your ccw gun keep it for that. But buy yourself a different gun for the games. What divisions do you want to shoot? Joe
  14. I have heard of wrapping the comp with tape and using an electrochemical bore cleaner. Supposably it works fairly well. I use ammonia and vinager (sp) and distilled water in my home made ECBC and it works great. Joe
  15. I load my .40 to minor because I'm shooting Production with it. 180gr MasterBlaster boolet, 3.6gr of Titegroup, and 13lb recoil spring. Shoots better than my 9mm. I will say this though, I haven't loaded a heavy 9mm boolet with a fast burning powder. I might try this and then maybe my opinion would change but I doubt it. As DanM said, one gun and one caliber will do three division with only minor reconfigurations. Joe
  16. Motorola 325i. Flips, takes a beating, tri-mode, works like a chizzamp. Joe
  17. I have the CR Speed and the DOH. I like both of them. I don't beleive you can go wrong with either. Joe
  18. Have you already tried to use the P14 mags. A guy in my club had a Kimber high cap that my MecGar P-14 mags fit perfectly into. He bought four of them and they worked fine. Joe

    Glock Sight's

I have the Dawson/Heinie combo on my G17 and it's ok. I have the CGR Racecut Hienies on my G22 and like those better. Joe

    New Glock "upper?

Sounds like a good one to me. Joe
  21. I agree. But let's not forget the 3k+ price tag for the S_I. Joe
  22. With this month's update I made A in Production and L-10. My goal was to make A before the end of the year so the new goal is Master by the middle of the summer in either division, but probably Production. Joe A54435
  23. So, essentially you can shoot all four qualifier stages at one match and get a classification in one day? is it them crazy pills again or is that what it means? It's not the crazy pills its true. We recently had a Special Classifier match. 6 classifiers. Bang and Clang was one of them. It was a good match and REALLY easy to set up. I shot three divisions that day. Joe
