Take Q-Tip, apply warm wax. Insert into snout and let sit. Yank. I watched a guy get this done at a hair cutting place here in Kuwait. He was relaxed in a barbers chair with a hot rag on his face and oblivious to what was going on until the barber snatched out the Q-Tip's. At first the guy was extremely upset, but once he calmed down he said he could breathe better. It was pure comedy. Joe
  6. That, was, beautiful. Joe
  7. .jpg's. They show just fine on the XP desktop computer but not on the Vista computer. I'll play with it some more and see if I can figure it out. Joe
  8. I can do that, but in XP when they came up as large icons, there were thumbnail images of the pictures. All I'm getting now is icon letting me know it is a Windows Fax and Picture Viewer file. I want to be able to see what picture it is before it opens. Joe
  9. I just got a new laptop and it came with Vista. I went to the BlackViper website and followed his advice to make it a little bit more tolerable. I have one last complaint. I can't seem to get my pictures in my Pictures folder, or any folder for that matter, to show up as thumbnails like XP did. Please help. Searching through 1000 pictures to find one of them is annoying. Joe
  10. Big Kahuna is going to have to chime in here as he did mine, but I'm fairly sure he wrapped a piece of sand paper around a dowel rod. He went up in grit sizes to make it perfectly smooth. Joe
  11. Anybody running one of these? I'm looking at one of the shorter models with a long handguard. How do you like it? It's made by Larue so I'm assuming it's top notch like everything else that they do. Joe
  12. I have the pleasure of having the use of a private range where I and the other guys I shoot with can set up all of the stages of the glock match. We just set up stages and treat it as a regular match! As far as going to a match cold, I see in my mind how I am going to shoot, I focus on the sights and trigger control. It can sometimes be hard ,starting out cold, but it can also help you focus. Shooting to me is 80% mental 20% pyhsical Are the stages the same all the time kinda like the Steel Challenge stages or do they change every month. Joe
  13. You shoot the same "match" that all of the other shooters will be shooting or just make something up? Just wondering. Joe
  14. Thanks for the info and the chart L9x25. My card will support 1680x1050 so I think I will be alright. Good to know. Joe
  15. I recently had Dell build me a new computer that I am thoroughly happy with. A friend of mine got me into online gaming and now I want more. I'm currently running a 17" LCD and want to bump up to a 20-22" incher. Well, I'm not sure if my video card will handle it. Video card is Nvidia Geforce 7300LE. It has an HVI, S-Video, and serial port on it. Ya think it will be ok or should I upgrade the video card while I'm at it?? Thanks, Joe
  16. Which model is it going into? I have used the ISMI springs with a SS guide rod in my G22 for a while now and don't chop off any coils. The one time that I didn't like the way it felt. 13,15, or 17. I don't chop them and they last about five to seven thousand rounds. They aren't bad when I change them, but I makes me feel good. Joe
  17. Eric, I don't know if your stuck on Chevy, but Dodge now has the lifetime powertrain warranty. Don't know if that's on the diesel motors or not, but might be worth looking into. Joe
  18. Thats the same thing that I had to consider when making my walls. The wind in the CA desert really sucked. Our club is in a pit so the wind just swirls around down there. Dajarrel those walls really are nice looking though. How long did they last? The orange stuff can be found at The Home Depot for 20 bucks. I think it was 4' by 100'. It's in the lumber section. Joe
  19. Here's what I came up with. We used 2x2's because they were cheap and light. They are six feet high and eight feet long. Some are four feet long but the same height. I then stapled that orange fence stuff from Home Depot on to it. On the corners I got some nice wood and made triangles as brackets. The wind goes right through them and one person can move as many as he/she can carry. To make them stand up we had some square tubing that the wood would fit into that we cut to about 12 inches. We welded that to a piece of "C" channel with holes drilled into it for stakes. I don't have any pics of those but they worked out well. Joe
  20. That looks sick EvilPJ. Is it going to go on an open gun or limited? Joe
