  1. Recently jumped on the e3 bandwagon. 3.1gr behind a Bayou 147 at 1.145 nets me 133 PF. Tried WST with the same higher SD, and flattening primers others report. Previously was using 3.4 Titegroup behind a Bayou 135 at 1.110 for 131 PF. I like the e3 better. Shoots softer, less smoke and residual powder and is more accurate it seems.
  2. My load was 3.4 of Titegroup behind a Bayou 135 at 1.110 for a 131 PF out of my CZ.
  3. Bayou 147 3.4 WST at 1.145 OAL was ~131 PF from my shadow. Going to try e3 next!
  4. MecGar 17 rounders work for me. Like you I found that the baseplates needed to convert the 19's wasn't worth it when a new mag was a few more.
  5. ^this. Draw to your dominant eye. If you have issues still put a darker colored lens in the right eye to force the left more. Same principle as tape but allows both eyes to see.
  6. NIST calibrated standard would be my guess. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. Blue pool hose was used at the indoor matches I attended. Much better than the black rubber mats that seem to cost me way too many procedurals.
  8. Always been a proponent of Bayou. Their 147 can be chambered very long (>1.150 in my shadow). I prefer the coating to the ACME's coating. Both will serve you well. I also run 0.357 diameter as stated above.
  9. 3.3gr Titegroup using a Bayou 135 @1.110 oal for 129PF.
  10. 135 Bayou 3.3gr Titegroup 1.110 OAL out of a CZ Shadow. 129 PF
  11. I've used a RWS model 34 for years. Was my first rifle actually. The pellet impact is as loud as the shot in my opinion. Much quieter than a 22. Strong enough for squirrels and rabbits.
  12. Northeast shooters is where we all hang out. The USPSA website for Area 7 is USPSA-ne.org. if all else fails get a hold of me and we can shoot steel/practice at my outdoor club. April 17 is Pelham NH. That'll be a good 5-6 stage match. Approx 2-2.5 hours with traffic from Newport.
  13. They appear to be the same profile as Bayou's which I load to 1.110 in my CZ.
  14. I use a darker lens in my glasses to push dominance to the eye I want. I'm left eye dominant right handed. Shoot handguns right handed and long guns lefty.
  15. 135 Bayou at 1.110 under 3.3gr titegroup runs 129 PF for me out of my shadow. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. For the case feeder I just use the wire tie off a bread bag. Feed through the two holes and you're done! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  17. Don't forget your chamber flags. That was my whoopsie at my first 3gun match! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. Google Keep is a free variant of EverNote. Works well for me.
  19. Imi makes one as well as bladetech. With the bladetech the safety must be engaged to have the gun seat into the holster properly. Then there's the issue of the retention strap not fitting properly when cocked and locked. No such issues with the imi version.
  20. What powder, bullet, OAL? I've been fortunate none of the ones I've tried have leaded. Bayou, ACME or Lucky13 have all performed very well. My preference is towards the Bayous in either 135 or 147. No major observational differences shooting 0.356 or 0.357.
  21. 0.3556 on two of the three sets of lands 0.3553 on the last set. This was a shadow.
