  1. I am running a Wolff in my SF. No issues. The tapered end of the spring needs to be widened slightly to fit over the guide rod. Any set of needle nose can address that issue. One can also make the Apex trigger work as well provided you mill a bit off the front of the trigger to let it extend properly, then trim the safety dingus to fit. Once I’m home I can provide some photos.
  2. Use a Wolff 13# Glock spring. It’ll fit over the stock guide rod.

    P320 X5 Thread

I recall reading some details once upon a moon about this topic but haven’t been able to locate it. Is an X5 with a small full sized 320 grip module carry optics legal? I believe so due to the rule regarding swapping of production legal components between approved guns. Thanks in advance.
  4. Hopping onto this subject somewhat tangentially. I’ll be in the DFW area 13-22 of April. It sounds like there’s a Sat match at ETTS as well as Cresson. Are there others within approximately an hour from the DFW/Coppell area during this timeframe?
  5. Badminton. You’d be surprised how fast and precise you need to be in that game.
  6. I had the same issue with the factory captured spring. Going to a 1911 spring with lower poundage (12) finally got my cases to eject properly. With the factory setup the Romeo was getting very beat up. That being said it seems the 1911 springs don’t have enough tension near barrel lockup and can cause the gun to not fully go into battery. Will be testing longer springs soon to try to alleviate this.
  7. One last thing I saw that hasn’t been mentioned yet is bringing the gun up without overshooting your sight line (fishing). You spent a fair bit of time hunting for the dot/sight picture as a result of overshooting your draw. Brian’s book does a great job speaking to index. Remember it’s not just horizontal but vertical as well. Develop where the gun points and that first shot will be faster.
  8. T6 in my race motors as well after break in. The only time the pistons seized was when I grabbed 2 instead of 5 on a really worn out gearbox . Made it to the finish line but no further.
  9. D&L in RI has a bunch of TS’s to ship. A few Parrots as well tell them Neal sent you.
  10. Tried two pairs, both did not work for me and produced high pitched hum when inserted. I have two others that ran them as well. One gentleman ran his for 9 months every day until they would no longer charge and another is still using his sporadically. Sad to say I do not think they are a wise buy at this point. 11. Which way did you go on the SCS? I haven't tinkered with mine yet as I haven't had time to practice enough for it to count. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. Replace the main spring if you have a lighter than factory one first. Factory is 16lb. Usually a 2lb increase bumps the SA by half a pound. Much quicker to test than swapping the sear spring. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. 3.5gr e3 1.180 bayou 180 is 159 PF out of a Brazos 5". Soon as I get my Atlas I'll test that. I'm guessing we'll end up at 3.7gr for a 168-170. Very soft load. Like bit smokey. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  14. 0.120" x 0.240". I like Dawson's 0.100 x 0.240" Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  15. Proraso or Col. Conk's shave soap for me. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  16. If you're looking for 147 data my current load is 147 Bayou @1.140 under 2.9gr e3. We found 3.0 Titegroup was approx 129pf. This is out of 3 Shadow 2s. None are reamed. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  17. 135 Bayou 3.4 gr Titegroup @1.110 out of my shadow and Shadow 2 for ~132 pf. I thought they were longer (1.130) but that's what my notes read. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  18. Fitted type 3 with stock hammer. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  19. Fourth one I've done. This one is simply scary nice. Zero take-up. As always CGW bits work their charm! Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  20. Ditto. 910 fps on my 147s compared to 900.
  21. I used the CGW sear to address the issue. With my original sear it wouldn't have taken much at all to get it right. A simple tweak to the safety leg and it would have been perfect.
  22. Just finished mine today. Polish, respring (11.5MS), T3 Disco, 10x bushing, czc hammer, and all the little bits (FP, TRS, etc). DA is lighter than my Shadow1, take-up less, reset maybe 0.5mm more. SA slightly heavier. Overall very happy with the results of my elbow grease. The stock hammer is pretty darn good and for the cost of the CZC hammer I'd just polish up the stocker and call it a day. Function check and sighing in tomorrow.
  23. My 135 load in my cz was 3.4gr Titegroup at 1.135 OAL for 132 PF for your reference.
  24. Bayou 147 coated. 3.1 e3. 1.145 OAL. Mixed brass, CCI primers. 134pf out of my CZ.
  25. Check to make sure you entered the dollar value as XX.XX. I had to do it twice for it to register as well.
