  1. The good thing about the Talon grips is the 3 flavours they have, Rubber, Grit or the Pro which is a combination, and as Tampa said follow the instructions and you'll have no issues. Have used Talon grips on 3 different 320's and wouldn't use any other brand (love the Pro version)
  2. HiPower is a double stack, it was one of the first of the 'wonder nines' with the CZ75 for IPSC competitions 9mm large capacity guns.
  3. Have you got the Holosun 509t please, I have downloaded the 590tx2, is there any difference in the ref cards?
  4. Had an interesting thing occur with this Stoeger on the weekend (haven't had the opportunity to shoot it prior) Fired initial 10 rounds a month ago with no issues, Sunday went to a "3 gun" match and used the Stoeger first 5 rounds were fine after that on letting the bolt return it wouldn't pick up any rounds out of the mag tube. Racked it a few times and no good, chamber was empty so went to the safe area to try and sort the issue with out any luck. One of the older guys turned up and had a look and it was the bolt release lever sticking and stopping the rounds coming out, had to press it internally and all the rounds exited obviously under spring tension. Tried it later on thinking it may have been a one off but same thing, so packed up the gun for the day, it's now on it's wat to the importer for warranty work. Has anyone had this or similar happen? I'll try to explain what occurred, so prior to pressing the bolt release (under the ejection port) the release is parallel with the receiver, once pressed it releases the bolt like it's supposed to but the release button stays slanted in towards the receiver (which blocks the mag tube assuming its meant to so only 1 round comes out at a time) there's no play in the button, however if you press near the screw that holds it in place it under tension goes back to it's original position but if you release finger pressure it tilts back towards the receiver.
  5. I would suggest the LDA doesnt replicate the original factory action
  6. I would suggest its a legacy rule from when holsters were mainly duty type leather/ then the cordura and there was no real retention on them.
  7. Pretty much what the DAA x holster is like
  8. Not sure how thick the DAA belt is but I use one on a JR belt with no issues, and have used it on a CR Speed belt also
  9. I've been running a Springfield loaded .45 with shooting star 8 round mags since Classic division started in IPSC have never had an issue with the gun or mags.
  10. I've just swapped out the lenses in my ESS Crossbow glasses to the Hi-Def Copper lens only used them at a 2 day match last month but 100% better than the clear lens and was a bit better than the smoke grey lens but time will tell with that on some really bright days. https://www.esseyepro.com/en_us/ballistic-eyeshields/crossbow-suppressor/crossbow-suppressor-one-black-w-hi-def-copper
  11. Won't ship to Australia but I think I've solved my problem. Thanks guys
  12. Nope no good for either reply but thanks
  13. Hi Guys other than getting my slide remilled what are my options for fitting a Holosun 509t to my og 320 X5 factory R1 footprint.
  14. Doesn't change the fact I've never had an issue with it.
  15. I've been using Dan's X5 with Federal Syntech ammo for nearly 2 years or so now and not had an issue with it nor with any reloads I use.
  16. He didn't say he was bumped to Open. He said he usually shoots Open, He didn't actually say what happened.
  17. The RO was correct Allied equipment is where you round holder/belt keeper would fall in to, intention has nothing to do with how the rules work. They are applies as written. We used to have similar issues with magnets when the they first were allowed, guys would have them forward of the hip without a magazine and state they weren't being used so they are ok...... Nope
  18. In regards to warranty its when you will need to use it NOT if you need to use it. Just the nature of the beast regardless of who manufactures them.
  19. Ive used Comptac International with both the BOSS hanger and the P80 grip module on a Sig 320.,
  20. Simple outcome buy yourself either an m17 orm18 and use the fcu from that.
  21. M17 and M18 have the manual safety so I don't see it being a big deal, probably a hole in the FCU and a slot into the grip module.
  22. I'm pretty sure they are a different type of ratchet buckle that most of the competition ones are. Have a look at Bladetec for example they have a couple of versions of ratchet belts but no means are they the type most refer to as in the pictures posted on the thread. BladeTech below
  23. Most of our inter club matches here are L3, I'm pretty sure a top level shooter would be pretty pissed if his match was ruined by an RO that wasn't up to standard don't you think? Some RO's don't take more than 1 or 2 matches to be ticked off but some longer, I only say 6 months due to when the matches are run. Once our Nationals are done around Easter the next L3 isn't until late in August.
