  1. I think you will find its pretty much as you said, 50mm from torso not inner belt.
  2. Hi Guy's just wondering if anyone uses the Kore essentials EDC belt for USPSA/IPSC? Are they a suitable alternative?
  3. I shoot IPSC Classic major, 5 DAA racer pouches with magnet on number 1 bullets forward and a magnet around the back side rear of holster for barney mag.

    320 series

Hi Guys What versions of the 320 are drilled and tapped for the RMR? Is it all the optic ready models now?
  5. Is there any reason you want a mechanical lock on your holster? The Bladetech DAA and Comptac type holsters work fine, I'm in nearly 20 years of IPSC never seen a holster come out of a properly adjusted friction bucket holster, not saying it doesn't happen ( lots of folks on here say it does) but I've never seen it at an IPSC match. And I've been an NROI and IROA RO for the majority of those 20 years.

    x5 legion

All good was just after the visual a buddy was asking about those.
  7. CED aren't too bad but the tone IMO is not sharp enough for long time shooters.

    x5 legion

Thanks, other than the LCI and the extra holes for the RMR were there any other changes to the slide from the X5?

    x5 legion

Hey guys just a question from an Aussie, does the X5 Legion have the LCI now or was it removed??
  10. I'll have to double check mine with the X5 when i get home.
  11. Is it just me or does that gun look like it sits high in the holster?
  12. If you look at the Alpha x holster it has a tab that clicks over the trigger guard and holds the gun into the holster and can then be locked into place by a locking lever. The Max has 2 rollers that click over the trigger guard that holds the gun in place and can then be tightened via a "locking wheel". Hope this and the pix explain it better.
  13. The trigger guard "locks" in to the mechanism similar to the Alpha X but is held by tensioning the dial as explained above. You definately get a click when you holster the gun in a similar way the AX does.
  14. Just changed to the DAA Max holster for my X5 so far it works as advertised. Have used the DAA Alpha X and the Pdr Pro II and both of those worked great but the Max comines the lock of the Alpha X and the bucket of the Pdr.

    Sig red dots

Was using the Romeo 1 for a few years on my X5 for IPSC production Optics gun, had a few issues early with them but sorted out and worked fine, have an astigmatism and had a look at a guy's Holosun 509t with green reticle and looked better for me so went with the 509t just for the green reticle. Had the Sig R1 been green I probably have stayed with that.

    X5 legion mags

Running these +0 on my 10 round mags here in Australia for IPSC similar to the Henning Legion bases but I prefer these.

Early version 320, can just trim the wings off
  18. Armory craft actually have a Compact tuning kit with 11lb through to 18lb springs on their website.
  19. I have the Armorycraft 6in bull barrel and their compensator, just playing at the moment still trying to decide on full length slide and barel or the compact slide and barrel set up. Will only be shooting minor at this point.
  20. About time, they did a .45 double stack about 20 years a go wasn't a bad pistol.
  21. Just looking at pics on the DAA website the Race Master has a round hanger rod which is where the thigh pad sits, probably not going to work on that one in your pic.
  22. Used mine (320) this weekend, seems to be a much smoother draw than the PDR pro 2 I was using when I say smoother I mean little to no resistance from the holster, the lock works as advertised if you tighten the knob the gun isnt coming out. Even without the locking knob tightened it has enough retention for normal stage wandering. Is it worth the extra $$ over the PDR pro 2 time will tell but at this stage I'd say yes.
  23. Yeah got mine from an Aussie distributor, DAA are a killer on freight for us down here.
