  1. The RO's in Australia tried that but was over ruled by the National NROI
  2. I'm assuming you're asking about Production or Production Optic? No, tungsten guide rods have never been allowed nor probably will be allowed in those 2 divisions. If you're asking about Standard yes go for it.

    LO

Tried the Toni systems but didn't work out due to dovetail, now have the EGW took a bit of time to find one here. Only a couple of mm thicker than the Toni systems. Will eventually be milled depending on what happens with the Division in IPSC.
  4. From the IPSC Rule Book. I'm surprised given the prevalence of CC that you guy's don't have a similar rule to cover it. Possibly the DQ was because of how much time it took to approach an RO. But I probably given the guy a bit of slack being his first match. 5.2.1.1 Competitors arriving at an IPSC match in possession of a loaded firearm must immediately report to a Range Officer, who will supervise unloading of the firearm. Competitors failing to comply may be subject to Rule 10.5.14.
  5. My Samsung x cover cell phones have replaceable batteries, quicker to replace them than to recharge when needed.
  6. For you guys using .40 at Major or close to it, how are your RDS's holding up?
  7. So does the Kore Essential inner belt, I have one for a battle belt but use it for my IPSC competition rig mostly which is a DAA Lynx set up
  8. Get your gunsmith to drill your factory front sight and add some fiber to it
  9. https://forums.brianenos.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=149492 Old Rulebooks are posted on top of this USPSA/IPSC page
  10. I asked Jug Winnik yesterday, that's where he said they came from.
  11. Not sure mate but I'll find out, IFIRK the Filipino guys handed some out at either the WS in Bali or one of the recent matches
  12. A lot of our IPSC RO's use an IPSC version of the USPSA mag gauge now.
  13. From the IPSC RULE BOOK The magazine is placed vertically upright on a flat surface, with the measurement taken from the flat surface upwards to the rear of the feed-lips, as illustrated. Only straight, rigid magazines are permitted (i.e. flexible, drum, "J", "L", "T" or similar shape magazines are prohibited)

    AXG grip screws

Gday Fellas Anyone know if any other grip screw fit the AXG or what size they are?
  16. Thats a simple one, there is a diagram in the rule book that shows where you can apply grip tape. It does not include the optic.
  17. Pretty sure there are plenty of phone apps you can use instead of buying a timer
  18. Well if you know what # weight works best just buy that one, however the OP isn't sure what # or type he want's to use it seems.
  19. you may not know the best # ones for you unless you try them?
  20. Any idea on when the Production list gets updated these days? Still the Oct 22 edit on the IPSC page. Used to be at least annually after SHOT or the IWA{?}
  21. Get the Armory Craft recoil spring set I think there's 4 different weight springs in the set. https://www.armorycraft.com/product-page/p320-p320-x5-legion-style-solid-guide-rod-recoil-spring-tuning-kit
  22. I think DAA have a compatible version for the ELS gear but more expense on top if you already have .
  23. I don't know about the rest of the world but the introduction of IPSC PDO/Lite was severely interrupted by covid lockdowns and such nonsense in Australia, so our participation was a bit of a 'false' start here, in fact once the rule set was published I'm pretty sure the PDOL started gaining rapidly on the PDO.
  24. Didnt CO start as a 15 round division?
