  1. Former Glock, former CZ, now SIG guy here. See if you can find someone local with a SIG P320 and see how that shoots for you. They ship with a medium grip but since the entire grip swaps out its small grip is one of the smallest available on any double stack platform. The CZ could also be a good choice as long as you have no issues with trigger reach for the DA. Similar to what has been suggested you might also look at grip strengthening if the issue you are seeing isn't present at the beginning of a match. A steady dry fire routine should help greatly as well.
  2. At this match it looked like CO=Rev+L10+PCC-1
  3. " juliegolob@huntertanks Max rocked it and was overall champ. I was first out of Area 3 shooters. Area championships acknowledge overall and those who reside in the area. This matters for slot distro, establish top shooters from an area etc."
  4. Most shooters don't necessarily have a CO gun sitting in the safe already so I think this division is a bit slower getting off of the ground than something another division where shooters already had a gun set up but were competing elsewhere (like Production and SS). I think many who are interested are slowly gearing up. I guess time will tell.

  6. I certainly could be wrong but I suspect that Max isn't getting strong pressure from SIG to compete in CO. Not to say that SIG wouldn't welcome it but it is a new division where Max should be extremely competitive and it makes sense for him to take a stab at being the first CO National champ. I think it's a bonus that his interests and his sponsors may be aligning here. Again, this is all speculation, but from my perspective we haven't seen arm twisting to go shoot CO. I plan to pick it up again after Production Nationals and shoot CO though the remainder of the year minus major 3 Gun matches.
  7. I have been using the Springer Precision coupler for the last couple of seasons. Would that be okay since it doesn't have the "wings?" http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=254&categoryId=21 No restrictions on mag capacity in TacOps? Thank you. Looking forward to another great match.
  8. Max posted this video from A3 https://www.instagram.com/p/BIkY-40hNhU/
  9. I use a slightly modified QLS or the Blade-Tech Large TMMS. The Blade-Tech is kind of nice because it has a lock on it but really hasn't been an issue either way.
  10. I would love to hear more detail or see some video. Are you seeing any interesting trends in CO guns? Looks like several are gunning for the CO title over the Production one.
  11. Yes. I like it but it wasn't the easiest thing to do. Better off having Scott Springer install one of his.
  12. Blade-Tech or Red Hill Tactical. Here is the Red Hill holster I am currently using for 3 Gun. I have a different one for USPSA matches.
  13. It looks great on that mount. Well done. I wonder whether the depth of the lense could be an advantage if it rains.
  14. Boresight does very nice work, to be sure.
  15. Not wanting to brag, but glue and grit will absolutely outperform stippling.
  16. This is all I have to offer: https://www.instagram.com/p/BITeqsqjfzk/
  17. I don't think it will be that long. He has parts in production now so I expect something soon.
  18. Here is Springer Precision's new addition to the MPX accessory lineup.
  19. I don't know for sure. Spacing and relative position on the set screws looks similar to the Delta Point but as with the Romeo3 it may be a bit longer. Both the Romeo1 and the Romeo3 may have been designed with a longer base to allow for the dots to be dovtailed into a slide cut like a giant rear sight might be. Kind of a unique design since the set screws are really just a backup to hold everything in place rather than the primary mechanism. The Romeo1 is pretty light as well. I think Bruce Gray said it was .6 to .7 oz but I haven't verified that myself yet. The stand alone Romeo1s aren't shipping yet. Looks like they are putting any that they can find on full size P320 RX being sold through Cabela's. So far so good is what I am hearing from those who have been shooting those guns.
  20. Maybe we could convince SIG to add a blast shield option into the design?
  21. I have the same trigger in my MPX now but plan on switching it out. Public service announcement from Timney here along with recommendations to use the new two-stage on the MPX.
  22. For the extensions: http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=355&categoryId=45 Another version may be available soon for coupling magazines. More details when I get them. To echo what has been said regarding the MPX, the gas port on the Gen1 is a bit larger than the Gen2. I can easily run my 147gr or 124 gr production loads in my Gen1 and have never had any issues. The Gen2s seem to need a bit heavier load. Taylor Pickerell has been opening up Gen2 gas ports if you want to run loads that are a bit lighter.
  23. I would start with a set of magpul grips
  24. I do silicon carbide grip jobs on P320 grips for competition. On my personal Compact I have one of Tommy Roupe's grip jobs. He asks a very respectable $80 plus shipping for his basic work: https://www.instagram.com/p/BHcjZrKDVCy/
