  1. I am at about 3lb with a full powered striker spring. This is after sending to Grayguns and lots of rounds down range.
  2. I think the vast majority of shooters who buy these will be running the stock springs and followers. A lot of P320 fans look to be picking them up for things like range use or as a backup magazine for carry. Even several 3 Gunners seem happy to settle on two fewer rounds in a hassle free package. For me, however, if I can get two or three more rounds then it's worth the investment. I heard from Springer that the red extensions were in now. I am waiting on black or blue and then I plan on ordering six or so.
  3. Like a P250 with a different action? I think those would work with the Target grip.
  4. Yeah, no kidding. As much as I like the P320F I shoot, it sounds like the Target's fixed every little thing I didn't like (aside from maybe the rear sight...) Several sight options should be available. That's the beauty of having that adapter plate. Another fun fact: if you look at the adapter plate you can see that it's angled on the sides. It looks to be dovetailed in like a standard rear sight would be. The Romeo1 itself is also dovetailed so you actually install it from the side like a standard rear sight, and then use the set screws to keep it from drifting back out.
  5. We will have to see what ships with the final product but the design you saw at Shot Show and NRA was actually meant to be user configurable. Essentially it has recessed grip areas and pre-cut grip tape that would allow you to use different textures of grip tape or even make it easy to do a glue and grit job or do you own stippling.
  6. What basepads are you guys using? I have a magwell on my 3 Gun grip so right now I have some factory base pads from my 17 round magazines to allow me to use the 21 rounders. I have some other 140mm extensions that go on the standard 17 round magazines and those work well with the right springs and followers but I plan on standardizing on the longer, 21 round tubes as soon as Springer Precision's new extensions are available. Springer already has the new Grams P320 kits (the previous ones were XDM kits that didn't lock back or feed the last round well) and the new extensions for the long tubes are being anodized. I will see if he has an update since I have my first major 3 gun of the year in a couple of weeks.
  7. I would have recommended what you said you already tried, swapping extractors with one that is know to be good. While you are at it swap extractor springs and rods as well. I have read on forums where the factory swapped the extractor and made another change to add more tension on it. Another possible cause is using light loads where the slide isn't cycling far enough to hit the ejector. In that case lighten the recoil spring or bumping up the power should make a difference.
  8. Perhaps that statement assumes that C-More makes all its own sights. The Romeo3 does have some unique design enhancements over the RTS2 including a lense that is more clear and an auto shutoff/turn on feature. There are, however, obvious similarities.
  9. That's what Max uses as well. I have the aluminum version. They are good but have zero give. I always felt like you had to pull mags out perfectly or they would bind. I can see how the plastic version would resolve that. Did you have to modify the inserts or did they work out of the box? I tried thinning out some large inserts to fit the P320 mags better but didn't finish the job before switching to Red Hill.
  10. Blade-Tech makes MPX mag pouches.
  11. CR speed and Ghost are popular. I run Red Hill Tactical pouches.
  12. I honestly don't know what they have in mind. I am sure someone could adapt the cut to other optics and perhaps even make other adapter plates. They had two "Target" models at the NRA show. One with the new adapter plate and one with a traditional sight cut for an adjustable sight. I am keeping my eyes open for any other details that might have been shared.
  13. I heard that new sight setup is built into an adapter plate so you can take the while thing off and toss on a Romeo1 dot. Look closely; you can see the adapter plate lines.

  16. No, the pictured trigger is a SIG flat trigger similar to what you might see on a SIG SAO Legion. There is also a Grayguns flat trigger that is being tested. Grayguns caries some medium, full size grips with 36 grit texturing. http://grayguns.com/products/p320-grip-modules-aggressively-textured-competition-atc-grip/ If you need something other than that you can PM me.
  17. The P226 and P229 Legion guns ship with a Grayguns P-SAIT trigger from the factory.
  18. I didn't recognize the rear or front sights. On some of the team guns we have been testing a SIG adjustable from a P220 Match Elite that really offers a nice sight picture and better matches the slide profile of the P320. Not sure what it will have when it comes to market.
  19. Outside of Production division I should also add that Springer Precision makes brass magwells and SJC is working on P320 friendly frame weights.
  20. I have used a few methods to add weight, mostly for Limited and 3 Gun setups. For medium and large grips I have a guy milling brass inserts for the inside magwell channel. On the medium with a small tungsten rod inserted it gets me another ounce and a half. Inside the large grip it's about two and a half ounces. I have a handful of medium brass inserts with tungsten cores if you want to get one. Some additional experimentation with tungsten is happening now but it's expensive. You can also go the more labor intensive route of embedded tungsten rods or lead slugs into the grip module using epoxy, but it's a real pain to get the epoxy leveled off flush again, finished, and looking good. Weight aside, I do prefer how the gun reloads when that backstrap channel is filled.
