  1. So I guess the one I have seen being shot in Production class over the last few months wasn't legal :-/
  2. Since the Grayguns trigger is in the DA/SA Legions that should good to go for Production now.

    SIG Legion Series

SAO guns are explicitly prohibited in Production. You can shoot an SAO in Limited, Limited 10,or Open.

    SIG Legion Series

The Legion 226 (non-SAO), and 229 have officially been added to the Production gun list. http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-NROI-production-gunlist.php
  5. I got some new Springer Precision extensions for the 21 round magazines. It brings the capacity to a reloadable 23 when paired with the new Grams P320 spring kits (which lock back and properly feed all rounds) or 22 with the factory spring and follower.
  6. How will this apply to the Sig P320? Not the way you (or I) might think. IDPA has ruled that the $35 P320 grip module is not a "readily replaceable part of the grip frame" so it is not eligible for stippling in SSP. I think we got them to concede that it is readily replaceable but then they say that it wasn't a grip part, it was the entire grip so it doesn't meet the requirement.
  7. Front strap stippling would be a no go in SSP. All stippling must be limited to readily replaceable grip frame parts. There is also something there for SSP about the trigger position not changing but I would have to find that again.
  8. I had all of mine in a hot ultrasonic with Lucas ultrasonic solution/bore cleaner about a month ago and I will be giving them a bath again soon since a few still have mud on them from the VA/MD Section match. I didn't see any adverse effects and it sure made for easy cleaning.
  9. The P320 RX will include the Romeo1 dot mounted from the factory and the factory co-witnessed night sights. It's not being sold "Optics Ready," only "Optics Equipped." The MK25RX is showing up in stores now and includes the Romeo1 as well.
  10. The only significant update I have heard is that the MK25RX has been shipping and is in stores now. I certainly hope the P320RX is next in line. http://sigtalk.com/sig-sauer-pistols/61985-picked-up-mk25-rx.html
  11. Based on the recommendation above I bought 100 trubore and used them at a match on Sunday. They functioned perfectly every time which is great since I have been struggling with Fiocchi 7/8 Oz and Remington. Now I just have to get my rear sight adjusted as I was shooting way over the top of my intended target. Thanks again.

    Reloading the 320

I don't know what to call the hump in the rear but that is problem number one of you haven't changed how you reload yet. It's a pretty sharp and unforgiving wall until you angle your muzzle slightly further down. Changing the angle and then aiming for the rear of the magwell versus the front makes a huge difference. There is also a little hump just inside the front of the magwell that also seems to hang me up sometimes. When possible I like to remove that. There a few more things you can do depending on which division you shoot and how you interpret those rules.
  13. Quantico Tactical carries them for $32 and I have a stack of grips new style (including new slide catch) on hand if you ever get desperate.
  14. Scott Springer observed that the P320s have a left bias so if you have your sights perfectly centered, chances are still that the POI will be slightly left until you adjust. For me dry fire brought the pull weight down a pound. Basic polishing brought it down another pound. I have one gun that am testing the Grayguns drop-in kit in. That one is at or slightly below 3lb; however, Bruce plans on selling just the trigger if you don't want the whole kit. The new geometry on the trigger itself seems to be the equivalent of going to a Glock 3.5lb connector. In the P320 just dropping that in takes you down another two pounds or so. The kit also has a new sear, reduced power sear springs, and also modified triggerbar spring. No idea on the price but based on other GGI kits and how much he has invested into R&D my guess is that you will save time, but not a lot of money by doing the full kit yourself.
  15. SJC is working on that and a frame weight.
  16. I have seen a bit of video. It looked like you have opportunity to stage some ammo or ammo carriers along the way.
  17. I just checked out my video from shot show. looked like the captured rod. It might have been longer than the one on the current full size but it's hard to tell for sure and who knows what will actually be on it when it comes.

  19. You can also get the Springer Precision extensions for 40 rounds.
  20. It's getting to be too close to Production Nationals for my comfort. I am planning on shooting the P320 I have now.
  21. 36 grit is definitely the most aggressive texturing that I have tried, and strangely it's also more comfortable than the very aggressive stippling. If the 36 is a little much for some people then I have been using a 46/70 grit mix with good results. I have done close to 100 P320s now.

    Nice!

That was one of the options show at the NRA Convention. I am mostly in the wait-and-see boat myself.

    Nice!

Me too. I read on another forum that it will be a couple of weeks on the P320 but at least they are now rolling out the Romeo1s, which seems to have been what everything was waiting on. The article mentioned that a Target equipped RX was supposed to be coming exclusively to Cabela's in July.
  24. Springer Precision makes them and many, many other race accessories for XDm. http://shop.springerprecision.com/category.sc?categoryId=41
