  1. I haven't heard yet. I am guessing we will know more on Monday.
  2. It's striker fired. Might be the first Production legal flat trigger.

    Reloading the 320

Just keep in mind that if you make the sides that thin then they break down quickly if you hit the sides a break it down easily. I like to leave them a bit thicker where possible.
  7. I would say don't wait. Having a backup gun will be nice anyway and the magazines should be compatible. Hopefully at Shot learn how long the expected wait for the X5 will be but I don't think it's coming out in Q1. I could be wrong.
  8. I think it's a good thing that they didn't release the Target last year. It wasn't enough of an upgrade from the full size and the X5 would have been following shortly after. That would have upset everyone but the IDPA crowd who just bought a gun that becomes outdated as soon as the bull barreled X5 dropped. I was honestly concerned that would happen and I am glad to see they held off long enough to get our entire wish list included.
  9. At least it has a decent warranty. So far reports I have seen have been good. I forgot to mention that the B and C models also have the circle dot option in case that makes a difference. I typically just run it in dot mode. I will try to compare these tonight to get you a firm answer.
  10. Sorry, just seeing this now. Maybe you wanted to compare the Romeo3 and the Romeo4? The Romeo1 is still only available on the RX. I have a 1, 3, and 4. The 3 is super bright and I will have to look and see how that compares to max brightness on the 4. When you compare the 1 and the 3, the 1 is daylight bright but max is maybe 7/10 for max brightness on the 3. I don't think you would have any issues with the 3 or the 4. I have run both on my MPX and prefer the 3 since it leaves you with more visibility around the optic and the seemingly larger lens.
  11. I am in the process of relearning how to shoot and I believe the mentality to let recoil happen has been one of several limiting factors to my development. I am focusing now on really improving my grip and resistance with my support hand and it seems to be helping greatly with recoil control, and helping to minimize pulling shots low and off target. Much to learn still but I like that I am finally seeing progress

    Sig MPX

Not the only one, no. I think the Gen II went with the reduced gas port to be more suppressor friendly. You can send it off to someone else to have the gas port enlarged if you want to run lighter loads like you can with the Gen 1s.

    Sig MPX

Anyone wanting to try out the Lantac I will sell you mine for $100 shipped. It looks awesome but I felt it performed better with the flash hider. Different powder might change that.
  14. The front is the same length. Back is shorter. I tried some 17 rounders with 140mm extensions and they locked right in. You can replace the 21 round magazine base pads with stock 17 round base pads and they will work, or you can replace the base pad with Springer Precision extension and Grams springs for 23 rounds.
  15. The slide is obviously not much longer but the bull barrel absolutely makes it easy worth the upgrade. That's the one feature that hadn't been released that I really hoped would make it in.
  16. I am using the SIG brand buffer tube adapter. That has some advantages over the cheaper ones since it puts the stock at the correct height (the cheaper ones leave it slightly too low), and you can still fold it to the side. I like the SIG thin side fold but wanted a better cheek weld. I don't like the feel of the collapsing stock. Springer Precision also has an adapter that lets you use the Magpul Yugo stock. Give it some time to break in but if you need a bit more gas then you can send it off to have the gas port opened up slightly. Taylor Pickerell is doing a lot of that work.
  17. I have seen a prototype Raptor charging handle for the MPX. No idea when it might be out but it wouldn't hurt to let you them know if you are interested.
  18. For anyone complaining about the price of MPX magazines, they have continued to go down. As example, here is a holiday deal on three Gen 1 MPX magazines for $60. http://gunmagwarehouse.com/sig-mpx-gmw-holiday-kit-triple-mag-pouch-with-3-30-round-magazines.html

    320 Thumb Safety

Thanks for sharing. I suspected that this would be compatible with other grips and slides once you made the proper grip cuts. The safety is ambi
  20. That may be be comparison between the RTS2 and the Romeo3. It's lens coating seems to be an improvement over the RTS2 but it is shares many of the RTS2 features.
