  1. I want one too. But by the time they get to my country I can buy another smaller country.
  2. If SIG gave a turd their first barrel would have been rereleased with a supported chamber. Way too many sig diehards out there that will insist there is nothing wrong with the LCI cut for Sig to bother to accomodate the competition shooter. Maybe once these barrels dry up unless it is cheaper to add the actual LCI indicator instead.
  3. Nah, R2 just refers to the optic cut. Those are old stock photos from before the gun was released.

Both of mine did this too. I think the design of the striker safety does it. Parts in the frame push up on it so when the firing pin lets go the slide in relation to the frame moves a bit. Not sure if its an issue when the gun is loaded though. Try a snap cap or 2.
  5. Pretty sure sight blocks are legal now if they fit the box.
  6. You can just use an STI magwell cant you?
  7. I had 2 x5's. 1 early one mentioned here and one made at the end of 2018. Both bulged cases with the combination of powder and cases I was using. If I used a slower powder OR different cases they didn't bulge. In the end I was running a 10lb spring in the newer gun, it couldn't fire out of battery with the upgraded drop safety work and ran well apart from the odd case bulge (it bulged with the factory springs too). A tiny bit of slide movement would disengage the trigger. The earlier gun could fire with the slide moved a lot futher back but not entirely out of lockup. I sold both x5's and am now enjoying the pleasures of full case support in 2011's again. edit: the cases that bulged or blew out were PPU, Tulammo and the very odd CBC. PPU bulged every time, even genuine once fired brass, Tulammo blew out and the odd CBC one would have been a super old case. Quite entertaining shooting a mag full of PPU and watching peoples reactions as they pick up your brass.
  8. Wierd they both cracked on the same weekend though.
  9. Thanks, the powder funnel is 200 rounds old so it shouldn't be worn out. Ill double check the backup die. Seems this is a pretty common problem. I was expecting 40 cal to be easier than 9mm to load.
  10. Thanks, doesn't the Mr bullet feeder die do the same job as an M die?
  11. Are the replacement barrels just the older barrels?
  12. The gun isnt the issue. Some bullets go into the case crooked. Those ones dont work. The straight ones are fine. Ill adjust the expander to start. Thanks guys
  13. Loading on a 1050 mk7. EGW sizing die, MR Bullet feeder die and Dillon everywhere else. Using only federal once fired brass. 180 grain RN FP coated lead in .401 from a magma mold. Loading to 1.2. Way more than I’d like I am getting crooked bullets bulging out the side of the cases. Most won’t barrel drop because of the bulge. I’ve tried reversing the Dillon seating stem with no change. Will a redding competition seating die work with .401 bullets and fix it? Any other tips?
  14. Anyone know what kind of weight the sight block adds to the barrel? What is the total length of the barrel with the sight block?
  15. The Shadow 2 has lots of room in a standard box but you need smaller basepads on the factory mecgars.
  16. Shadow 2 trs. Use the hammer pin retaining pin to fit the spring to the trigger as a slave pin then punch it out once in place with the right pin.
  17. Aiming for Under $200 usd/euro according to their facebook.
  18. Ive had success with an 11lb spring and light loads. 120ish pf.
  19. I bet your guide rod is upside down. Rubber mallet on the back to get the slide off.
  20. Overcharged case. Look at those marks on the case head. Damn. Also s#!tty barrel support doesnt help. Mine would bulge cases quite often but case heads always looked normal.

Ppu and tulammo brass bulged in mine. Use a slower powder. I got rid of my x5s. Prefer to use a shadow 2 that doesnt bulge cases. They cost less here too.
