3GN will Die a slow painful Death! First of all those that control the board aren't shooters. They are Film/TV/Production managers what ever you want to call them. Yes they have a pool of folks with input that are shooters but, their approach is totally backwards. Many Americans own guns. Unfortunately less than 1% of those Americans compete in the competition arena. To the new interested shooter that watched their carnival type shooting they televisioned this year shows up at a local match and sees/shoots a match that is not even close to what they saw. So I have asked a few newbies and they say they see the cream of the crop blazing away with their $10,000 .00 plus cost of kit and they are intimidated right from the start. They should be showing average people shooting affordable level equipment somewhere through out this country at a monthly match atleast a few times during their carnival show. Next is the SxxT they pulled last year to open registration on 6 regionals and to make folks pay then change the rules a month later! By the way the matches want full. What they done was make you pay for gas then give you water. Last their "Nationals" was supposed to be a invite/semi/club finish type event but, there again they change it to allow anyone to sign up and compete. So what do I know I've been in business for 31 years not 3. Now for all of you that sleep with 3GN pillow cases throw stones at me but I'm laughing with the poll pushers on outlaw matches and those that just want a good match without the drama they have caused. 2016 will be interesting.

3 gun sucking away uspsa shooters?
3gunwoody replied to Sandbagger123's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
Humm...... Let's see. So you go to a pistol only match and there is how much on the table? Last 3 gun regionals 100,000 on the table and it's a fad? When is the last time you went to a match finished 40th and left with $1100.00 in five items. Stay at your pistol only match and maybe all the folks that left to shoot 3-Gun will be back before your next birthday. -
Tripp! Tripp! And thirdly Tripp!

Amen to that! 3 gunners have found that out the hard way. Shortly after the buzzer goes off.lol It was really designed for a water repellent as in actually immersing the gun completely in water and it adhered in place.

Soliciting Recommendations for a 6mm Creedmoor rifle to 1000 yds
3gunwoody replied to michael1778's topic in Precision Rifle
Hey Michael, Woody here. Lots of great suggestion above. Since I have held these matches for 5 years I know I can help steer you in the right direction. Seen all of the things above mentioned. The good, bad ,and ugly. Call me you know how to reach me. To much to type and it's a little easier for me to help over the phone. If you are not planning to shoot 5-3-14 at my match. Would be a great time to check out guns.- 65 replies

That's my choice, spray it on, let it soak, and wipe it down. Make all the surfaces it contacts very slick, but because it dries, it doesn't attract a lot of dirt. Also use it on the inside and outside of my mags. Same reason.....

9mm 1911 style single stack good for IDPA
3gunwoody replied to Wrinkles's topic in 1911-style Pistols
Great gun! First of all let us know the problem. Second it will need some work. But mine runs like a scalded dog after using tripp mags and some other minor adjustments. Post problems and maybe we can give you some feedback. -

acceptable amount of malfunctions per 1000 rounds?
3gunwoody replied to Thecelt's topic in Shotgun - Technical
Agreed. Either its in the safe or they are blowing smoke. Have a few benelli's M2/ M4. I can say the M4 is the most reliable of all shot guns. Its has over 10,000 rds and I only clean it about every 4/5 months. My wife shoots it every weekend at any 3gun match we attend here in NC. Not ideal for the sport but holds 8+1 and does not kick. Like Jesse said. When the Vmax has been in the sport for a while and holds up well maybe then. -

Glenn, I thank you for making a great mag. I also appreciate the part that when I opened up the shipping box your personal business card was in it along with the mag wrapped up like a fine piece of china. First class.

Tripp! All the way. Have run all the above and hands up or down tripp is the best.
