  2. That might work. Hate the idea of having to unscrew it every time I need to clean the gun. Wonder if I could dove tail it through the firing pin channel and then just cut a relief in the racker to clear the firing pin. I really like that idea! with a ball detent on either side.
  3. I would get on this email list if you're not already, they're the last ones I saw with them in stock http://www.kygunco.com/cz-75-ts-czechmate-9mm-pistol-20-round-54-barrel-black-43718 Have you asked Stuart?
  4. Not more than 2,000 I would send Stuart a message before throwing it away and buying a new one.
  5. The hammer hooks do look a little round, how many rounds on that hammer?
  6. So when you hold the trigger against the overtravel screw and thumb the hammer back and forth, it doesn't touch the sear?
  7. Clays Clays right? The good stuff Not Universal Clays or International Clays 2.8gr with a 147 cast @ 1.10" got me 129pf The only data I have for 124 is longish, but it works in my stock CZ chambers: 3.7gr with an Xtreme 124 @ 1.160" got 133pf Use this data at your own risk, with extreme caution and most important of all: USE A CHRONOGRAPH
  8. I don't think you can use a dove tail type racker, but you could bolt one with a flat to the rear (although it wouldn't look very sexy). What about drilling and taping the side of the slide right above the firing pin channel?
  9. Just switch mounts and be done with it Come on, who could call that ugly?!?

  11. Either way, just pick one and learn to dance with it!
  12. Rail no rail is an easy way to look at it. The regular 75B has a short beaver tail and the 75 Shadow (no rail) has the long beaver tail like the SP01. Most people like the rail because it shoots a hair softer, but the no rail models trade a little more muzzle flip for less weight, but keep in mind these are differences of a tiny degree, it's not like a Stock II vs Glock 17 You will most likely be happy with either, but if you favor the soft push of 147s over the snap of 124s I recommend the rail.
  13. I'm just a B class shooter, but I can usually get at least one A and maybe a C/D if I just rip 3-4 shots in one presentation.
  14. 10 fewer PF, more powder options, 9 major is a different animal today.
  15. Which caliber? I've got lots of conversion parts if you're interested.
  16. Unfortunately the answer to both questions is no. The TS/CM frame is unique and none of the other mag releases will drop in.
  17. I used an abrasive wheel on my Dremel.
  18. You could also probably just send a 9mm Limited to Rich at Canyon Creek and have him build you a custom Open gun for about the same price...
  19. You can definitely compete in major with the 38 GT right out of the box and the issue with the 9mm is not being competitive, but durability shooting Major. If you keep it right around 165-170 you should be fine with most of the popular powders, but if you want a safety margin for major matches, you'll be limited to just a handful of powders and need careful load development. I think it is possible to shoot tens of thousands of 175-180 pf 9mm through a v12, but like I said, you'd most likely be using a case full of hard to get/expensive VV powder and it would be pretty violent. ETA: this is all just my conservative speculation and you might be fine for 100k rounds using 8+ gr of Autocomp.
  20. The comp only has one small port, so shooting major through it would be pretty harsh.
